As mentioned above we're mostly located around the European timezones, however we do have active/semi-active American-based players so if you fall within that region, please drop us a mail or pop into our channel for a chat. We have recently had another corp join our alliance, which we hope will improve the number of opportunities within Avalon and the alliance. It might be a small alliance, but as our motto states "from smallness comes greatness". The other corp is primarily a mining one, with interests in expanding to wormhole space and PvE/PvP activities (which Avalon has some experience with and is offering to help "train" those interested - don't worry, no classroom attendance required  ).
Things are happening, slowly but surely, so why not give us a try?
Things to note about applications:
We've had a number of people just submit an application. While this is fine, we also like to chat with potential applicants to get to know them and their needs to see if we and they "fit". Said applicants have yet to chat with anyone, so their applications have stalled.  Don't let this happen to you, come and chat - we don't bite.
People that have chatted with us or dropped an in-game mail and then chatted before applying, are more likely to get accepted or move on more quickly in their search for a home once their questions have been answered. We've had several applicants do this and some of them are now welcome members of Avalon (YAY!). The others, after very friendly chats, have decided that we're not quite what they're looking for - be it timezone issues or particular activities that are missing - but it's all friendly and we don't consider such chats a waste of time.

We are also growing our US timezone member base, mixed in with the rest of the alliance, time zones are becoming less of an issue as we are starting to have members on round the clock :)

We are looking to expand our numbers, primarily in the US and EU timezones for the time being. Sadly a few of our new recruits have moved on due to there being low numbers in the US zones - so if you're interested, please come and chat with us and find out more! We don't bite. Honest. We'd very much like to have more people so that no one feels lonely and so that there are enough people to partipate in activities.
We also have a small number of Australian-based members, so if there are players from that area that are also interested, please drop us either a mail or grab us for a chat (bit more difficult considering the time differences I know, but we'll do our best).

We have recently been running some incursions and having a great laugh while doing them. We allow drakes into our fleets :) After all, how would the smaller players afford to buy better ships if we don't help them out.
