by doing that, eve online will get lots of more players and CCP will earn much more money.. if this came true i hope they expand the servers so it don't be too much lag! :P
another reason for ccp to make a movie xP

yes somehow I don't think this will ever happen. ccp would have to get an outside source to buy the rights to make the film first, and with a relatively low popularity that is going to be hard to do. also eve story is quite poop to be honest. I probably wouldn't watch it. well not pay for it lol

I have thought of this. For EVE to be considered a movie you would have to scale the movie idea down to a small scale portion of the EVE universe, perhaps based off of a particular mission or two, maybe a specific battle between two of the fedrations etc.. It could be done but it would only focus on a specific portion of eve where as it wouldn't matter if you were a fan of the game or not.

Someone already did.
Course alot of it sounds like they went against alot of ingame concepts.
(sensor boosters negating ECM, scale of tempest bridge, isk for charging cap, MWDs on a BS being surprising)
It's still well written.

Its also worth placing eve online + movie into a search engine to find all the other posts on this topic.
Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congratulated by carebears for the actions. |

Whatever it is, CCP needs to **** out a movie BEFORE BLIZZARD PUTS OUT A WoW ONE. Or they are gonna be behind on player base, profits, server quality, and movie-age. I love EvE, WoW must BURN!
