I agree with this proposal only under the pretense that anyone who is being probed for by the prober is not allowed to warp, dock, or log off for the duration of the probes.

Another carebear whine thread heh ? Reducing the flight time to 15 minutes would be rediculous as it can take a little longer that to pin something down to 100%.
If someone is dropping combat probes to catch you, either carry on your business, wait till hes gone or just STFU. There are more significant things to sort out than combat probe scan times

Considering that probes nowadays are not supposed for actually scanning someone down - seroiusly, how can you with all these non-scannable setups, with probes easily seen giving one enought time to align/warp our/cloak and w/e etc. - but rather for irritating and intimidating...

I personally don't like the idea of immunity to being found (yes, afk cloaking is included in this, but it's hardly the worst possible abuse. People are just unimaginative.) but c'mon. Scared of probes? If the neut is in system you'd be scared anyway. If they aren't, then the probes are just floating space trash.
