I know this maybe considered a stupid suggestion but since i am minmatar and having used other race ships aswell i think this should happen.
Change all damage modifiers into one module, ie Damage Control I.
Typhoon pilots are stuck having to use 2 modules to get the same effect as one on an apoc/ armageddon etc.
I realize there is probably something seriously wrong with this idea, so please tell me what it is. Mimiru > It'd be a tie, the monkies nerfed pooflinger wouldnt have enough tracking to hit the parrot orbiting him, but the parrot's beak is so small it couldnt break the monkey's fur tanking. |

Cant rly comment, because it wouldnt make v much difference all in all Cept to minmatar
Conisder missiles an advantage in themselves __

Then it should be done IMO. Its quite unfair that minmatar have lowest DOT by far, PLUS less tanking ability. Y not 
Gallante have drones and high dmg blasters Amarr have lasers and very good tanking Caldari have deh missles and EW and ok tanking. Minmatarr have speed (just) and range (sort of). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Well, it wouldnt necessarily just effect minmatar(though imo they need the greatest change), with missile changes coming in i could certainly see ravens using a mixture of guns/missiles especially if my module existed. It'd end up making many ships very beastly... For example (this is why I'd love such a module)
The new Malediction coming with the next patch, 4 high slots 2 launcher 3 turret. Yeah, 2 Arbalest Rocket Launcher, 2 Small Modulated lasers (dunno what type ) And that damage. mod in bottom slot? Baaad idea.

Why is it such a bad idea though, all we see at the moment is you fitting 3 lasers and the token missile launcher, a raven fitting 6 siege, a tempest fitting 6 800mm's.

it will never be implemented tho, due to the rare modules ppl are paying good isk for etc. imagine if 10% dmg mods were availble to all at a decent price! every man and his dog would have a Raven-From-Hell -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

u could break it down into damage percentages to turret or launcher & still have named modules. CCP have never worried about named loot becoming alot less valuable through patching anyways - look at the mwd changes and launcher changes as an example.
