New to 0.0. So wheres all the action?

As I¦m not new to the game, but new to 0.0 region, I¦m wondering where to start. I¦m a miner and was told, not to mine alone. Neither I have always 5 peeps around me in my corp nor have I 3 accounts for monthly billing for myself. So I just have 1 char who is waiting for work. But guess what? :) Theres doesnt seem to be a difference to high sec, apart from the billions I make, right? I still have my skill queue, I still fly my own ship, I¦m the man whos making the show. Or where are the action heroes who are myking the big theatre in eve, instantly making a fleet for mining ops clearing an entire belt, with 5 barges, 3 orcas and BS for backup. Or instantly making a fleet to get over to enemy territory , lets say 10 peeps, getting the rich bounty :). I mean does this even exist in this game ? Or is it just me, flying on my own in my own ship, training my own skill, making my own money ? Please tell me wheres the freaking action. And I¦ll get there :) Plus I cant play all day long sorry. :(

Feel free to visit HED-GP, EC-P8R, PF-346 or N-RAEL and then come back and tell me there is nothing going on in 0.0 - It's not "Play through a pre-set story, become stronger, do endgame". Gameplay is open ended, and you make your own story. Unless you're too afraid of 'pvp grief' to do anything relevant

TBH the unsavoury truth is that the majority of mining is done by AFK miners/botters and there's absolutely no need for the glorious fleets you mention in your OP. They'd probably just get bored and start testing out their lasers on your Hulk in all honesty.

You can make a fair bit just doing the anomalies and whatnot around your home systems or by trading if you want to spend less time actually playing the game. If you want to do pvp then I'm sure a big alliance like the one you say that you're in will have gangs running most of the time. Or you can just join the big blob cta fleets if that's your kinda thing. Most alliances are more than happy to have another ceptor/dictor/drake join their fleet if you've got those trained up. If you feel like soloing then it's as easy as heading out to lowsec or to a hostile system where there's a bit of a blob on the map.

More seriously, theres no point in mining when you could be running sanctums and make 2-3 times as much. Theres no point in protecting those miners with battleships because you have local, so if local spikes you just dock up.

I wormhole bridge to 0.0 often and hit radar sites there. I am for the most part trying to rub salt in the OPs disappointment. 0.0 and low sec are not panning out and the fault is because of the way people are handling it. I really think the player corp thing is somewhat messy and too many people get into that looking for end game adventure and find they are just renters or pets and it's a grind fest still.
