Too much for eve???

Reami Sotsku	Posted - 2010.11.21 04:57:00 - [1] ok there is a wide debate going around in my corp about what is good enough to make your play experiencing enjoyable hardware/software wise. and I said playing on my system with the EVGA quad SLI mobo with GTX 480's and a complete surround sound system, played on a custom 180cm(72") led 3d tv was the only way to do it. They disagreed and said it was too much for eve. And now I want to know what everyone things to much?? Full system spec's: Evga quad sli/ GTX 480 the big tv the surround sound core i9 Windows 7 ultimate special edition.

Currently I am looking to get 5 more 24" widescreen monitors for a 6 monitor ultra wide/tall setup so I can run 2 EvE clients one on top of the other in 5760x1080. Or I can have the 3 on top for web browsing, Netflix/Youtube/Hulu and a spare just in case. The only downside right now is that the only such card I can find to support this in a single card is made by ATI. Either way if it makes you happy then its not too much. I also plan to build a reclining chair that has the monitors and computer built into it so you can recline and have the monitors move to stay in front of your head.

Sound sucks as does the music,gfx are ok but the effects suck.I can think of a hundred other games that do take advantage of it though. And btw hardware doesnt cost all that anymore 0/10
