Hi, I've realized the need in-game to advertise your contracts and lotto's. Spamming in local or other channels often results in getting blocked, even if your legit. I've personally experienced this and wasn't happy. In response to this I've decided that there must be a better way to advertise 24/7 and at the same time not be getting blocked for even legit items. My Idea? Create a new channel where your ad gets added to the MOTD and results in 24/7 advertisement! All Contracts, etc. will be inserted into my bio with a link in the MOTD. This service requires a small fee of 15m/week. Every week deposit 15m and your ad will remain (or until your contract is fulfilled) forever. If not received every week, you will have 1 extra day after that as a reminder. If I do not receive payment your ad will be removed. After that you may send ISK and get your ad back up upon receiving ISK. Sending ISK for more than 1 week is fine. This results in a scam free, spam free channel to get your service, product, and lotto known to the public
 Completely Spam Free since all ads are already in-place so no need to spam.
Completely Scam Free since all ads are pre-screened before getting up
Ads will be inserted in MOTD of channel. Contracts will be inserted into my bio with a link to my bio in the MOTD to insure max viewing.
If your contract sells for less than 15m we can work out a new price.
Lotto's must be secured by 3rd Party Service (Ex. Somer, Chribba, etc.) OR have a forum WITH positive feedback.
All ads will remain forever, unless payment is not received

As above: Advertisement without an audience is a bit pointless. I agree, the advertisement venues in Eve ARE painfully limited, but you need a reason for non-advertising eyes to be in this channel before there's a reason to put advertisements there.

I endorse this, mainly because it'll be easier to just block 3v3 versus everyone else. Thanks for making it easier.

*sigh* Ok, not everybody in the channel puts up an ad, most of the people just come in to find a good deal or service. Joining the channel is free. Putting an ad up is up to you, or you can just come in and look around. As for the ppl that block me, since this ain't a scam nor is it spam, so whatever. Still, the first 7 ads are free. 3 are already used by other peps.

WHY in blue blazes would anyone join a pure advert channel? 
Industry/market folks (at least those doing it seriously) don't waste time on these when they are already a few good channels in existence - both player channels and the default trade channels, and even the Sell froum. |

Actually the idea is fine and there is no need for trolling.
You would want to change your fee to 2% of the contract price or similar instead of a hard fee.
And you would need to establish the channel as a chat channel instead of just an advertisment channel. Any established channel is a great place for advertising. I might even steal your idea.
Better yet: contact me and I may let you use my channel.
