I recall that live event where a massive CCP fleet came down from their space and got slaughtered somewhere in low-sec. I acquired three CCP Corpses but they wouldn-¦t show their names when linked in chat.... Forum-unbanned since 2011.10.20.

I was saddened months ago when linked corpses no longer showed names. I could no longer link them in my chat channel and go, "I found this dude's body just floating around on a gate." But if this is for sure getting fixed, +infinity!

Sure, now when you drag into chat the LINK it makes says XXX's frozen corpse, but when you CLICK on that link, it still opens the generic "corpse" information that does not have the name so it can still be faked. You can link a corpse and it correctly identifies which corpse it is, but when you use the link, it links to a generic corpse and NOT to the specific corpse. The fact that this has been broken for so long is just outright silly bordering on incompetent. They said they were going to fix it the day after they broke it in the api update pre-incarna, and yet years later it STILL isn't fixed properly.
