Aplogies if this is asking the obviour but:-
how do i get better level agent missions, its feel like i've been doing level one agent mission forever, how do i move on to more complex/difficult ones, cause lets face it killing NPC rats of the level one type in a cruiser is well dull frankly

it takes a while. you might want to train connections, as at the lower levels it helps a lot.

Ok if you are doing agent missions for a corp in the same frsaction as your starter agent (did you do these missions - if not return and do them they give you a 1.0 standing to your fraction which allows you to access better lvl one missions) then do those untill you fraction or corp standing is highenough to do lvl 2 missions (to find agents clich show info on the corp you work for and go to the agents tab - this will show you all the agents of that corp and will show which you can use)

Ah looks like part of my problem might lie in the corp aspect - i did the tranier mission s as part of a starter corp - and have since joined a different corp so that may be part of the problem i suposse
As for the connections skill - thanks did'nt even know such a thing exsisted
So conclusions look like have paitchence - ah well back to halluing tiny ammounts of cheep stuff for pointless rewards

U will have a range to shoose from in the long run.
What ya do is work for one guy till u can use two... then work for two at a time and ur standing will grow faster.

There are two different faction standings that affect your access to particular agents. one is corp faction and the other is race faction.
your race faction ultimately is the best one which comes from importants/storylines ONLY but allows you access to full race agents.
you get one storyline on every 16th mission if you do not fail or decline any so don't. as soon as you get notice of a storyline do it no matter how bugged they are. that is the ONLY way to boost your main race faction.
if you get your main race faction up over 5.85 standing, you will have access to all lvl 3 agents for that faction no matter what corp you wish to run with that faction. I think its something like 6.95 for access to all lvl 4's for that faction, i forget that one.
That is for access to ALL agents in regard to your main race faction and their entire list of corps that you can run for.
the faster way to concentrate on gaining access to better agents is with corp standing and farming that.
YOU CAN raise your corp faction for a particular corp which will allow you higher lvl agents to use but only within that corp.
as you run with one corp and increase that standing you will find that you will slowly gain access to higher lvl agents before having access to the same lvl agent of same race but other corporation.
again running missions with one or two agents in same station is the best way to increase your faction standings no matter if it's race or corp.
running missions all over with various agents and switching often is the slowest way to increase those standings.

Did i happen to say and emphasize.
Do NOT fail or decline any if your in the gaining access phase of your agent running. Failing or declining missions kills you terribly when your trying to build your standings.
Not a single one. If your going to be away from eve do not even communicate with your agent if you think you might miss it.
Once you get good race faction standing then you can decline some here and there without affection your main race faction.
