I think you should ditch the bumping prize. It seems overly-complicated and unfair. Maybe just a second drawing for ticketholders, for a 2nd prize?

How is the bumping prize unfair? It helps promote the lottery by keeping it close to the top. It helps finish lotteries earlier which is good for both the peeeps who buy tickets and the person runnning it.

If it was just ticketbuyers, then sure, but it's anyone. If it was ticket buyers, it makes it a pita for dark to track. It's also unfair, because he's not tracking it properly. He's just putting in total amount of posts, rather than who actually posted properly. For example, there were 40-something replies, but some were from him, some were replies to others. He didn't check to see if some people posted twice in the alloted 1 bump per calendar day thing, etc.

You certainly make a fair point in some aspects. Initially it was simply there to make the lottery sell out faster, as confidence in this market means everything and the faster it sells out the better it is for everyone. Also I wasn't taking anything away from how I ran lotteries before rather adding an extra incentive to get it sold out fast.
However after spending the past 30 minutes or so thinking on it, from this point on I will do the draw and whoever wins must also have atleast ONE ticket in the lottery. I believe people should only be rewarded for taking part, however my prizes handed out in this and previous lotteries will still stand.
With regards to my posts, yes they change the outcome sometimes however I cant not post in the thread, sometimes my post is required either to bump it or reply to people or to notify everyone of mistakes or typing errors.
The one bump per 24 hour rule is a CCP rule and its up to them to enforce it as far as I am concerned, its supposed to only be a simple quick bonus prize to keep the lottery at the top and sell out faster, I don't wish to make it into something complex where I look back at previous posts, watch time stamps and read content - it really is just supposed to be a really quick, easy and small incentive to give a post when purchasing tickets.
I hope this addresses your concerns and I will make the relevant change for all future lotteries.
