Just wondering if anyone knows if we will be able to remap attributes once learning skills are gone, or would we have to wait a full year from our last remap?
I think remaps for everyone are in order after a change this big. Any thoughts?

There's nothing in this change that would warrant a free remap. Hell, seeing as you get a whole bunch of skillpoints to spend on anything (hint: spend them on skills you're not mapped for), it's rather the opposite.

Nothing changes at all. Instead of the minimum of 5 points in each attibute that you can't touch it will now show 17.

Hey folks, I just resubbed acouple of weeks ago and am still trying to catch up after a years plus absence. What is this remapping thing that you are talking about?

so there is 17 untouched is there going to be anything left to remap or is it that every charater will train every skill at the same speed no mater what.

For the love of god...
There will be 17 points that you can't touch. There will STILL be a number of points you CAN remap with, to your heart's content. That has not changed. All that has changed is that instead of requiring level 5 in all learning skills to get the 17 base, you have it off the bat. Remaps are not affected, in any way, shape, or form. You are not getting a free remap, you do not deserve a free remap. Unless you've trained all Learning skills to level 5, you will ONLY end up training EVERYTHING faster with this change. Even if you did train them all to level 5, the decrease is so minute you won't even notice it (a few minutes more on a week long skill or something)
Do not pass go, do not collect 200 isk. Go straight to jail and STFU.

Technically, remapping was slightly affected. The loss of the learning skill itself (you know, the one that gives a 2/4/6/8/10% bonus?) means that that you now have 9% fewer points to shift around as you like -- since the points that you can shift no longer receive the 10% bonus.
In practice? This doesn't matter much. Enjoy getting your skillpoints back.

Ok so you say i can still use my remap but if 17 point are untouched from the leaning skill now going to base which points would be left to remap?

You will likely have the same number of points to remap, which is 14 I think.

You clearly don't understand the proposed changes if you think an attribute remap is warranted.
