The EVE client is now resizable in Windowed mode, allowing the players to stretch their client over several monitors. Now EVE Online is much more beautiful in ultra-widescreen resolutions. There is a new version of Windowed Mode called Fixed Window. It is similar to the regular Windowed Mode but lacks any title bars, frames or borders. A new option, ôHorizontal offsetö has been added to the settings menu. It allows the player to have all menus on one monitor and focus on his ship in another monitor. EVE now supports anti-aliasing. The beauty of virtual space has never been moreà beautiful. Fighter Bombers now have a new missile effect, which looks awesome and doesnÆt make the servers beg for mercy at the same time. Microwarpdrives now have their own brand new icon.
Can someone confirm that these changes will be on the Mac as well. I haven't tried SiSi in a few days, because it wouldn't let me update to the newest SiSi client. I will try again tomorrow.

I'm sure you've already figured out that no, it apparently does NOT affect the mac client.
:(
And I was really looking forward to it, too!

The message of the day in the OSX chat channel says that an Incursion 1.0.0 issue is wide screen and anti aliasing does not work under Cider.
CCP: Any word on when we Mac users will get some excellence delivered?

As much as I find myself not surprised by this, I feel myself growing more angry by the second.
I came to this game from WoW to play with a friend. I am not used to being treated like a friggin 2nd class citizen. WoW's mac client is the envy of alot of windows people with built in video recording and iTunes control. To give you an idea of their level of concern. The day lightest released g15 keyboard drivers Blizzard released a special Mac patch to allow us to use the keyboard and be on par with windows.
I currently have 10 accounts and find myself with 29 clients of varying resolution to suit my desired task. Lately I have been playing my 7 free days of WoW wIting for this patch to come. CCP has an excellent game here, but it is becoming harder and harder to justify paying to get kicked in the junk every month with such a crappy client that lags the windows version in every single aspect.

Furthermore I see the limitations of cider not only hampering the mac client and the disparity to the windows client growing more rather than shrinking in the future.
CCP c'mon, prove me wrong.

Macs are not used in Iceland just as there are no black people. Get used to being treated like a second class citizen as a mac user. Come on, only with the new character creator has CCP added people with african skin tone and features (no, the present Brutor character types do not count. They are at most latino).
LOL!
