Why does CCP give a mission that allows Caldari and Amarr (mostly Caldari) to destroy a structure and get 1000 planetary vehicles?! It would take someone running well-developed planets about FOUR DAYS to make that. The components to make one planetary vehicle cost 79,910 isk! So once the NPC stockpiles run out, Caldari and Amarr mission runners will be able to make an additional 80 MILLION isk from ONE mission! CCP should either remove this bonus or give Gallente and Minmatar the opportunity to make this kind of isk as well.

Be careful, with V it is considered to be one of if not thee hardest Lvl out there. I hear it is tougher then the Blockade.
Spawns are on timers and Dmg is across 4 types, bring a friend and read up on this mission on EVE Survival.

It has already been that way before PI. Maybe CCP just forgot to change it.

Posting to say Alara doesn't know isht. Mission is easy enough even in meta 4 fitted Raven, all you have to do is kill spawns as they appear (I believe 400 DPS is more tahn enough for that)

Posting to call you a moron.
I was letting the person above me who has not done it before know it was not your normal mission. It has a unique time based spawn method and aggro on all spawns. It also has NOS and dmg dealt accross all four types.
Miss a spawn and if you are in close the DPS will overwhelm you and you need to warp out. If you warp out they will keep spawning and it maxs out at 3000 DPS so it is an all or nothing shot. You could have explained this you have obviously done the mission but warning them of what they are facing is usually a good thing as is looking it up on EVE Survival. But instead you go with it is easy without explaining the unique properties of the mission.
It is always easy after the first time but letting someone new know what they will see is common courtasy. Unless you can think of a harder non story line LVL 4 then it is the hardest and even then I said it was one of the most difficult. Does not mean that someone who knows what they are doing will find it hard.
Stop being ******ed.
Link to Spawn DPS if you haven't run it already.

From scratch?? I don't think so. With 5 planets and advanced processors and reinitializing extractors EVERY 5 hours on the dot, it'd take about 4 days. If you insist otherwise, I'd be very interested to know how, since you can only have about 21 buildings per planet, but I guess that's a discussion for another thread.
[edit: rechecked math. Actually it would only take about 2 days for 1000. I forgot about basic processors running on 30 minute cycle] |

So this is why those are so cheap. I've always wondered why planetary vehicles were super cheap compared to other similar tier PI commodities.

Same here. No vehicle drop anymore. It must have been removed within the last two patches so I doubt it was due to whines.
OP: The drop was there years before PI was introduced. The drop was not removed once PI came out. Please adjust your tin foil hat, I think you put in on way to tight.

Your math is pretty badly off.
If you were right, it just might be worth running the Enemies Abound mission, which tanks your faction standing with Gallente.
As it is, most people just skip it so they don't become criminals in Gallente space.
There are about a million things more profitable than running enemies abound, if you are trying to make money.

The whines did not happen until recently. Why would they remove it the instant PI came out? I ran the mission days before Incursion, and the drop was there. Furthermore, why, then, are they removed now... especially, as you say, since it was there for YEARS?

Why the change, just out of curiosity? Still love the mission, and will continue to run it... but curious as to why something that was not really that profitable was removed from a mission that a lot less people seem to run (because of the standings hit).

Planetary vehicles were being dropped at a rate 100 X other commodities, thus throwing off the value versus other commodities.

So we're clear, this change was in our system long before this thread was even started. A whole crap-ton of PI commodities were removed from NPC loot tables as a PI clean-up task, including the tower cited here. It's a (hilarious) coincidence that this thread started mere days before the fix was published.
When I nerf something, it takes 2-3 months for your dreams to be crushed.

My question is when are you going to double the number of highsec based combat agents for non-caldari factions. As it stands today there are as many Caldari combat agents in hi-sec as there are all other races combined.

Quote: My question is when are you going to double the number of highsec based combat agents for non-caldari factions. As it stands today there are as many Caldari combat agents in hi-sec as there are all other races combined.
There's a reason for this. Caldari ships are shield tanks and missile shooters. Shield tanks and missile shooters are all but useless for anything other than PvE. Therefore, most people who fly Caldari ships do PvE more than other races, hence they have more high-sec agents in their space.
If you want to run high sec mission more easily, move to Caldari space. We Caldari have to move to other empires' spaces to get good PvP action. Quit whining.
