Right, basically.. When i put windows mode, stretch it from the right to the left,
Right monitor = 20" Left monitor = 24"
When i stretch it over in windows mode its a perfect 3600 x 1050
But when i go into FIXED mode it drops to 3585 x 1012 Incorrect reso
The reason it drops is due to the bars that disapear. What i wanna know is how do i change the resolution to its correct resolution, when not in windows mode, not given the option in "Esc - Resolution"
Where is the file, so i can change the resolution manually?
Cheers, Takashi.

This is not covered by a file, this is covered by your graphic chip.
nVidia can add custom resolutions through the nVidia control panel, AMD/ATI can through the CCC or a registry change. ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

I don't use a nVidia card, and this is not my graphics card.
I'm using a ATI 5870. The missing "resolution" Is simply the window bar, You know, the 1 u can drag now.

Its quite annoying. Seeing this small gap on the sides. especially when i'm so OCD when it comes to things like this! Hopefully we'll get some information on this asap so we can fix it.

Quote: "Resolution" With the new "Fixed" Window! Duel Monitor
So what is a "duel" monitor?
Is it the kind of a monitor that fights another monitor in an engagement in combat?

I had this problem, but it was very easy to solve. When in standard (ie non-fixed) windowed mode, stretch out the window to fill both screens, then move it a little to the left so it goes over the edge of the leftmost screen. Then stretch it again at the right edge so it fills the rightmost screen properly. Now switch to fixed window mode and it will get rid of that annoying gap to the far right. Problem solved.

But what about top to bottom, where Windows 7 has OCD about where you can move a window up to? Lol what...

yeah, but some of us kinda use this, a lot. sure we can set it up and hope eve keeps remembering (doesnt have the best track record in remembering stuff, that client :) ), but its a bit of a hassle to dive in win7's disaster of a control panel every time this needs tweaking...

I forgot how immature some of the EvE community is :D Sorry, Dual* My mistake. Troll some where else, kthx. Also to the post about about moving the client around, There should be a easier way then spending a while dragging. Like a config file where you can just type the resolution =/.
Troll along,

I got it to work, but it looks strange. I have a 1366x768 and a 1280x1024 side by side, and the 1366 looks like it's zoomed in. Guess I'm adding a 1280x1024 monitor to my Christmas list. or maybe an even bigger one, then just use one screen.

You are not being very clear, but if you are talking about what I think you are, please try the following:
1. put it into windowed mode 2. grasp the top of the window, and move it a little off the left side of the left-most monitor 3. grasp the bar on the right hand side and drag it the remainder of the way to get full resolution. 4. go back to fixed iwndowed mode.
you dont really have the full resolution in windowed mode either, it lies about the window size by including the bar width in the width calculation.

have you tried? the changes broke the EVEMon relocator
what i found worked perfectly was moving the windows far to the left, off screen, and adjusting it pixel by pixel till the res that the ESC menu showed was what i wanted
i switched to fixed mode and it fit perfectly :P
