And Rote Kapelle, loudly yammering in an attempt to undo the damage that their own actions have caused, reeling at the decisions that they have committed themselves to.
What in New Eden would make you think that Rote Kapelle regrets any damages or decisions we have made?
A more accurate heading for this discussion would have been 'Rote Kapelle Friend of No One?'
The Sansha commander attempts to name us a friend of Nation so that capsuleers will draw their fire away from Sansha and toward the anarchists of Rote Kapelle. It is a clever strategy and one that I hope works for them for it suites our needs as well.
If you believe us to be friends of Sansha, please do come and kill us.

Oh, so now someone needs to be a threat to be worthy of scorn?! Where was this compassion four years ago when you were slaughering my fellow APEX corpmates?!?
I call hypocrite on you.
Callibri, you were not the only one to refer to us as 'Kapella' which is why I assumed it was some kind of insult I was not understanding. We've been called many things, most of which are probably accurate. It's just nice to know what they mean, ya know? ___

"Pilots of Rote Kapelle, Friends of Nation - I thank you for the assistance provided today. Let it stand as a lesson of the futility in opposing us."
I think it would be wise for everyone involved to stop reading too heavily into the public musings of Citizen Astur. I personally have no doubt that many things are spoken by that individual with the hope of planting seeds of doubt, spreading disinformation, and encouraging the capsuleers to continue to battle amongst themselves whilst Sansha continue to enslave civilian populations.
Were Rote Kapelle assisting Sansha directly in their actions yesterday? I couldn't say, I wasn't there. From scanning the battle reports, the facts seem simply to be as follows: - Sansha forces are on the field. - "Coalition" forces (and unaligned entities including Rote Kapelle) are on the field too). - Everybody shoots. Shots are exchanged between the unaligned entities and the "Coalition".
Until Astur transmits his message, there is nothing there to suggest the skirmish was anything but situation normal for Rote Kapelle. Others have said as much already, but it is not my place to comment or speculate on the reasons for their actions. Whilst I do not always agree with RK's methods, I do respect their right and ability to operate as they see fit wherever they are. It is not beyond the realms of reason that some of the vessels the RK fleet fired upon have - in their eyes - committed more "crimes" to them than Sansha has yet managed. Astur's play is indeed a clever one, as pointed out by Mr. Laurenitis above, but is just that - a play. "Divide and Conquer" I believe it was once called.
A witch hunt helps nobody. And paying heed to the public words of a Sansha propagandist just seems silly. Attia Alveolus CEO & Founder Core Synthesis Unlimited |

I had other things to attend to. Were they more important? In the grand scheme of the universe, no. Were they necessary? Yes.
I have also never claimed to be part of any coalition, simply an interested third party seeking to impart some wisdom and possibly help you save some lives. I can say that I am satisfied with the efforts I have made, and used my abilities appropriately.
Deltole and Oruse were both successes. If even one life was saved through my efforts I consider that a "win".
You cannot blame a Slaver hound for being what it is; but you can blame it's owner for setting it loose upon you, non?
[I never said I was against Sansha's Nation; only that if you do wish to survive, you must use your skills, resources and abilities that you have developed. Use your strengths, and adapt to the situation.
The strong survive, the weak perish. This is how it has always been.] Do you have a better way?
