Edited by: Ya Snezhinka on 01/12/2010 02:22:56 Is it possible to get out, or upgrade clone within a wormhole? I'm about 7 mil sp short of a proper clone (have 20 mil clone). I would lose roughly 350K SPs if I self destructed.
Does my character have any options, beside the SP loss?

I suppose you could always just take up permanant residence.

well, that would be nice and all, but considering I'm in a pod, it may be quite boring! |

If there is a pos you can see if the residents will help you get out.
In my experience, people that live in wormholes are always happy to help with that.

There are wormhole recovery services that you can ask for help. They charge, often as much as 100 million, but depending on your implants that may be worth it in the end.

Edited by: Apollo Gabriel on 01/12/2010 02:33:00 Given you're fracked, you mine as well post the WH id and if someone is there and feeling greedy, they'll offer you a way out from paying ransom.
Otherwise ... 7-8 days of lost training.
As to recovery services, I am offended that anyone would charge as little as 100 m. Seriously, you've got them by the shortest hairs there are, come on people. =============================== || Don't let the Trolls keep you from your goals. || =============================== |

Ask in local for a bm to an exit and tell them you'll pay them if they give you it. Half when you see the can, half when you jump through.
Then don't pay the second half if you don't want to. -

You may want to be more specific than that. Most will give you "a way out" free of charge

I read this and wished I knew you so I could feel good about this. Then I looked at your portait and found a reason.

A couple of months ago I was in the jump freighter business (alliance only) and didn't have enough cyno alts to cover everywhere that needed to be covered. So I began using Doc as a cyno alt. Since I was used to pod jumping around to all my offices as needed, I ended up writing off BS5, and about a week later Cruiser 5.
And that was when I started training another 2 accounts worth of cyno alts.

Well we had the same situation in your Ally some time ago after hostile POS bashing. One of us a carrier pilot was locked inside C5 due to wormhole collapse.
To make long story a short one.. We have found him after half a year still sitting inside corp's carrier
Answering your question.. Nope there is no other way than podding youself. Don't count that wh locals help you they will pop your ship and your pod anyway..

You may as well risk asking the locals for some help, afterall your only other real option is self destruct. You can find a WH by making BMs mid warp, but you have to where the WH is and even then the chances of landing near it are very low.

Why do you even suggest that? That is not even plausible.

If it was me and you asked me for a way out I would help you out, no backstabbing or anything... but if I found your pod before you asked... well, then I would most likely have to scrub pod goo off my ship...

1. locate pos 2. make note of corp 3. contact friends outside to use locator agent on the members 4. get friends outside to tail members till they disappear from local 5. get friends to scan wh in that system

This is EXACTLY what I planned on doing. At least that seems to be my only hope. However, they don't appear to leave the WH!!! I've already located 4 of them, and they are always found inside.
