Hello, I was wondering if there is any way to make isk while offline except for R&D agents (and then selling product), PI (click fest) and Trading (which is good if you manufacture things yourself & have good trading skills; which I don't at the moment.) ?

No, I think you mentioned all the obvious options. You could buy GTC of course and then sell them in-game for ISK.

well there is high end moon mining assuming you can get one of the moons that generate more revanue then the fuel costs of the pos that mines it. moon mining requires little acctualy maintance asside from keeping all the hungry pos seiging fleet from taking your precious moon from you. and all this assumes you had the fleet required to take one of tehse moons in the first place

There are Contracts which are largely separate from the Market but I don't know a lot about that.
Then there are player created business opportunities. But those have the problem of being scammed.
Player Corporations have shares and dividends can be distributed based on the ownership of those shares but I'm not all that sure about all the ins and outs of that.
For the most part - the ones listed by the OP are the main forms of passive income. How much income can be generated from the above sources - I don't know - nor do I know how much risk is involved.
Then you have semi-passive incomes from doing things AFK. As long as you aren't using a bot or macro if you set your ship to some activity and then just go watch TV ... that's completely legal.
Mining in an industrial is one such activity. You put a Miner II and some MLU's on an Indy, use an Ore Scanner to find a nice fat rock in a 1.0 or .9 system (you might be able to just tank the rats in .8) and have at it. You won't get a lot ... but you'll get more than you would if you were watching TV and not doing that. If you have multiple accounts - you can set someone from each of them to it and that can add up.
There are mission runners who claim to run missions AFK. I'm assuming they use auto targeting, drones and F.O.F. missiles but haven't ever tried that myself.
Then of course - there's putting your hauler on Auto Pilot while hauling something from one system to another to sell it ... but then there - if what you have is really valuable you are likely to get ganked doing that.
*shrug*
I can't think of anything else.

Moon mining, as someone mentioned, and also moon reactions (buy the basic moon goo, react it at a POS, sell the advanced goo).
You can also invest in stocks and bonds. Check out the "Market Discussions" forum to hear about what other people are seeking capital for, and what kind of returns you can get. Beware of scams.

Edited by: Funesta on 02/12/2010 18:47:19 Courier contracts are an easy variant of Toshiro's suggestions. Many don't require an industrial, either.
Pick a high sec to high sec courier contract that you can afford and fit into your hold. Then autopilot, with very minor maintenance.
Doesn't make a lot of money, but it's been more profitable for me than afk mining in 1.0 space on an industrial. It's also less maintenance, but higher loss if you completely forget about it for more than 24 hours.

There is actually no such thing as a passive isk source in eve. It's far more useful to think of them as opportunities for extremely lucrative trade missions.
Those 5 research agents? You still got to fly to them.
That POS? You still got to pick up the goo.
Just bear that in mind... would i take a 60 jump courier mission if it paid 100 million isk? and further more why do i even need a sig? |

Ok then, what about R&D. How much can I earn doing R&D ? How many agents do I need ? Skill-wise, what are the bare minimum one needs to be doing R&D and what would be a recommended skill setup if I decide to invest time in science skills ? What are these waiting times to invent BPCs and how do they relate to research points and research agents ?

Edited by: Perramas on 03/12/2010 13:40:46 You need to train Science to level 5. Then find a R&D agent and train at least 1 lvl in a shared field. After that you need to raise standing with the agent's corporation so that you can use the agent. Here is a list of R&D agents Agents, click here As far as what is most profitable you will have to research that for yourself. If anyone posts what is the most profitable it wont be long before every dimwit will be using that agent and it wont hold much profit for long.
