This happened to me while sleeper hunting in a C3 wormhole with corp buddies. I was on salvaging duty and had to cloak at a planet while my corp mates killed the sleeper drones and like all great pilots I fell asleep in a wormhole. I woke up the following morning on the launch of Incursion to find myself alone in the C3 wormhole , well my first reaction was "Omg omg omg omg, i'm so in deep ****" well it gets better, I forgot to bookmark the exit of the wormhole and a corp mate told me the exit closed 1 hour earlier. I was about to self destruct, but decided to go down fighting with no guns, only salvagers and tractor beams. So i started to warp from planet to planet to find myself a POS or a close by sleeper spawn and warping to planet III, i bumped into a cloak hoarder manned by the pilot XT2465, who was out for a smoke. He had the scare of his life when he came back to see another ship next to him, he naturally did what any industrial PI hauler would do, he warped off. I convode him and greeted him nicely and asked him if he would sell me a bookmark out of the wormhole for 20mil, he aggreed gave me the bm exit and I got out of the Wormhole without blowing me and my implanted head up. This had been a real adventure for me and consider myself the luckiest SOB in EVE at the time. Just wanted to share it with ya'll.

Good story.
Here's another WH story about a corpmate who tried to pull an April Fools joke on us http://k162space.wordpress.com/2010/04/01/it-seemed-like-a-really-good-idea-at-the-time/

My CEO once was setting us up to go do a sleeper op in our static C3
She got us together and I was running salvage but had a probe launcher and a cloak. Most other had one or the other on their BCs
She jumps in with her drake and it closes on her "plz tell me xerc made it thru" "nope" "@%"
she only had a cloak on her drake
but she managed to negotiate with the Russians in the WH and get out alive with some vodka and fluffy hats
-------------------------------------------------- The drake is a lie

Reminds me of the time one of our skiff pilots fell asleep one night in the middle of a grav XD.
He was fine come morning when he woke up, except for the potshots we took at him to see if he had sound turned on.

Love the OPS sig BTW.
So much to not worry about when you have your own probe launcher.
What's the big deal about sleeping in a WH? I sleep in them all of the time.
OP got lucky - very lucky.

Why do you think the inhabitants are called 'sleepers'?
