We Amarrians are truly ones who place the welfare of others higher than our own. We know what it is to have a truly civilized society, and it would be so selfish of us if we didn't want the same blessings bestowed on others in this universe.
So, what do we do?
We expand our love and civilization to encompass our beloved neighbors as well. The problem is that a.) our neighbors are pagans and barbarians and b.) there are some who wish for others to continue to suffer in their darkness.
Pagans and Barbarians
Those poor wretches. They huddle in the dark, cold and afraid. They bow before some wooden or stone idol, fearing that their petty gods will be angry and destroy the crops. They have deranged witch-doctors and shamans who lord over them like some wild-eyed beast, striking fear into their pagan hearts.
They cry out to us for help! They don't realize how the sunlight of civilized culture can free them from their fears. We need to pour out the milk of Amarrian kindness, and help them become a part of the empire. We do this by liberating them.
Resisting the Wicked
Now, there are also some who are despiteful, implacable, and unmerciful. These wicked demons find no greater pleasure than to expand the darkness. They gnaw on both the Matari who they lord over and the faithful Amarrians who seek nothing more than the good of all people.
We must fight them. We must beat them back with the plated fist of righteousness. We must take the flaming sword of Amarr and drive it deep into their stone cold hearts!
Nay, my brothers; we don't do this for personal profit or fame. We don't drive back the darkness for medals or glory. Our pure motivation is LOVE! Love for God. Love for Empress. Love for those poor filthy Matari wretches.
News has arrived that Eytjangard and Turner have been liberated today. House Theodoulos has set up several fleets of rescue ships to bring these poor Matari back to Amarr space. We will clean them up, clothe them, and feed them. But more importantly, we will EDUCATE them so that they can know the truth, and TRAIN them in labor chores teaching them to be a useful part of society. We will drive back the darkness from their minds and hearts, as we have driven back the darkness from their systems.
God bless you all! Gabriel Theodoulos Optio

The systems are so far from Amarr sovereign space, that one would hope the Imperial Navy would have a logistical nightmare.

Despite my comrade's pride at the Empire's claiming of these systems, I am more subdued in my reaction.
KotMC made up about a fourth of the fleet that laid siege to Eytjangard, and defeated the subsequent TLF response fleet which attempted to cut off our return to Amarr space in Hofjaldagund. My brother-in-arms Eran Mintor, the former Minmatar Valkear General who had turned from the Republic in disgust for the violence they were willing to wrought upon us, led that fleet. Both he and I have concerns over our actions, however.
It is the Knighthood's general opinion that the goal of this war is to end it, and to protect rather than disturb the civilian populations caught in these warzones so arbitrarily and irresponsibly designated by a weakened CONCORD. We believe that the Emergency Militia War Powers Act should be repealed, or failing that, the four Empire should come together themselves and declare peace. In the meantime, we fight primarily to defend and not to subjugate.
This being known, I come here to make a plea to my fellow capsuleers within the 24th Imperial Crusade and to the Empire itself; leave those upon the planets alone. Maintain space superiority and force the Republic to sue for peace, rather than spread misery to their people and increasing the desperation with which they strike back at us. We capsuleers should also hold enough humility to recognize that we neither have the right nor the capability to take and educate Matari as slaves from the captured systems. This, if it must happen, should be taken care of by the Navy. I pray, however, that the lack of a clear link back to Imperial space would prevent them, and anyone else, from attempting something so foolish.
I thank those who would consider my words, and hope they will keep my them in mind should more systems fall soon.

Quit talking and do something to fight Nation. Or are you quite content to live with the dishonor and shame of having Gallente and Minmatar defend your people while you do nothing?

I can sense some sincerity in your words, but I will call you out on this. The Knighthood claims itself as a defensive force, yes, and you could argue 'defence through offence' if you so wish.
However, conquering systems and then expecting others to not go further in their plans is fallacy. The Caldari militia did the exact same thing; they went ahead and conquered Federation territory and spouted liberal, peace-loving nonsense. Yet the situation became more dire; worlds were annexed, populations but under occupation.
The same will happen here. I'm afraid you cannot call for peace while participating in the opposite. ------------ Luminaire General Seriphyn Inhonores Eleutherian Guard [FDU] |

Perhaps you speak truth, but peace rarely comes without struggle or war. No matter the sincerity involved in wishing peace, protection and prosperity upon the citizens of these worlds, it is simple truth that peace is never the first product of times like these.
I would suggest that Grandmaster Shutaq's words are entirely sincere but he understands that peace, like freedom and most everything else, comes at a cost.

Why is it whenever there is a sneeze in the Empire, the Amarr Militia is expected to wipe the nose? They have been out numbered from day one in a war we did not start. They started out behind and have clawed back to maintain a slight advantage. They have chosen their battlefield...and now you would goad them in running to another front?
No. They have their orders and they will not abandon their post. Other pilots must get up from their soft couches to fight this threat. In fact, if the Minmatar abandon their posts to fight the Nation, perhaps more ground can be gained.
While I can appreciate the pride in conquering two systems so quickly back-to-back, I must urge you to save your speeches. We have traded systems back and forth for many years now. When the last Minmatar system falls, you may make speeches. Be advised, if there is any spine left in the Minmatar militia, there will be a backlash to this.

With all due respect Vaarun, we didn't? I am an Amarr through and through, but I would be neglecting truth quite candidly to claim we did not have a hand in starting the war. Slavery tends to incite rebellion, especially when the slavers are cruel and ruthless. That is not to say all Amarr slave-holders are cruel and ruthless, but enough of us are.

Are you serious? You would neglect a singular threat and attack the Minmatar lines while they are distracted saving lives against what should be a common threat? There is no honor and no justice in such cowardice.
No, my brother, I'm afraid in this case the Matari is right. We should be rallying against a common threat, not being consumed by pride and vengeance lest we are all consumed in foolishness.

If it is construed that my announcement claims even the least portion of this victory, then with tears of humility, I plead forgiveness.
Alas, I cannot claim any portion of the final victory. That acclaim must go to greater men and women than myself.
I can only conclude they were those loyal to the empire and empress, and I praise God that these wretched souls are now given the opportunity to be enlightened. Gabriel Theodoulos Optio

You know I almost let myself get talked into flying into Amarrian space to help fight the Sansha by a colleague of mine the other day. The only reason I didn't was because the incursion systems were over 20 jumps away and I was certain that by the time I arrived that the attack would be over.
After reading the mewling words of the 1PG slaver I'm now most glad I didn't. Let Nation destroy your entire empire for all I care. Personally I hope that Nation "uplifts" everyone on your homeworld Theodoulos. I hope that when the news reaches you that your family, friends and everyone you've ever known have been stuffed into Nation dropships, transported back to Stain and converted into implanted automatons that you'll still feel so proud that you were off attacking Matari civilians, who never did you or your precious empire any harm, rather than fighting Kuvakei's abominations.
I don't believe in hell as I don't believe in your imaginary god, but if I did I'd hope there would be a special place there for you and your ilk Theodoulos. Get out of our space and attend to your own affairs in the empire. Fight Sansha's monsters yourself instead of relying on Gallenteans, Caldari and Matari to fight for you.
Filthy imperial beast. You can call us barbarians but, at least we take care of our own. What you want is irrelevant. What you've chosen is at hand. |

The sad truth is that the Sansha abduct the enslaved Minmatar alongside the Amarrian holder when they attack Amarr space. To wish that their entire homeworlds be abducted, as some sort of divine punishment for their wicked ways, is very short sighted.
The Amarrian threat is indeed closer to home but requires more dedication to counter than repelling a simple Sansha raid. Dedication that Electus Matari has shown before.

Don't condemn the many for the sins of the few in this case, please. The people on that planet do not all deserve the fate you have wished upon them, and many of them are likely your kin.
I would not wish a Sansha "uplifting" on anyone, friend or foe, and I would pray that you would not either and your words are simply rash and angry. (Which I am not denying you have reason to be.) We need to stand together against this threat instead of dividing ourselves even further.
If we continue to fight each other like this, we are giving Sansha an open pathway to our throat. That goes for Amarr, Matari, Gallente and Caldari alike.
