I know that not all storyline missions give the same increase in standings (right?) but "on average" do, for example, level 3 storylines give the same standings increase as level 4's?
I'm just wondering if all I'm after in standing increases and not is or loyalty points, should I be burning through lower level missions to get my sets of 16 out of the way?
Even if lower level storyline missions do give smaller increases in standing the lower level missions will go (perhaps much) faster. Anyone have any idea if on balance you gain more standing per hour running blitzing lower level, and hence faster, missions?

Generally level 4 storylines give about twice the standing. So if you're looking for standing gain and you can do level 3s twice as fast or quicker, then level 3s probably are the way to go. I must admit that I'm tempted to skill up a proteus or loki to spam level 3s.

Thanks for the reply. Obviously L3's can be burned through faster than L4's, but I'm not sure I could run them twice as fast.

No they don't. I was looking at my increase last night after each story line. One yielded .423 and one was .269. Both were from the same agent.

combat storylines give more standings than couriers do
so a combat 3 might give more than a courier 4, never really compared it

I ended up getting a gila and am spamming level 3 missions right now. Since I last wrote, I bumped standing in two corps from the mid 3's after connections (had empire standing of 7+) to 6.67+ after connections.
I see three ways my missions are sped up. First, level 3 combat missions tend to be faster (aside from things like The Blockade which repeatedly spawns blobs 100+km away). A lot of them have a fast blitz option too. Second, I'm in a sweet cruiser so much faster travel and lock times. Finally, I don't have to change my fit, aside from occasional drone swaps.
