I have been involved in 2 Lv 5 missions in my EVE Career, both do to being bored in low sec waiting for capitals to be dropped into/near system.
All I did was shoot at a few things and be done with it... I need a little more info.
So...
Do rats in Lv 5's have bounties?
Do you get massive faction hits when running Lv 5's and thus you get kicked from certain regions of Empire?
How much can you expect from a single mission?
Has incursion changed the lV 5 AI at all? Do they switch primaries or kill drones?
Are they worth doing when compared to blitzing Lv 4's in a faction fitted mission ship?
Any additional info that you might also want to add will be welcomed. Thx.

1) As with lvl4's, some are against pirate npc's, others against navy npc's. It's a 50/50 split from what I've seen. So yes, half of them have bounties, the other half have tags and a single 3 part mission arc is against rogue drones (minerals only).
2) Yes, the gallente federation doesn't appreciate your killing one of their thanatos's (NPC) repeatedly. They don't care for the BS kills either. Obviously this applies to all 4 races, gallente is only an example.
3) 8-10M isk liquid in reward, 0-20M isk in bounties (or tags), 78k LP in 0.3 sec, 83k LP in 0.2 sec. Your isk/LP return will vary with faction and how lazy/smart/rushed you are.
4) No, same old rats that have been around for years.
5) I had a faction fitted paladin, sold it because I completely stopped running normal lvl4's nearly a year ago. The pay was just too low to be worth my time. My primary mission boat is now an archon (I skip nearly all gated missions). On the rare occasion I run a gated mission, I use a vargur. I do that to break the monotony, not for isk.

The one thing I'd definately agree and build on is the LP conversion - After trying them for myself with a couple alts the LP gain is massive, the only downside to all the LP is finding something to convert it into - I found level 4 missions more profitable purely because I ran missions for a corp that had some decent items, the corp I ran level 5's for I couldn't really find anything.
So level 5's in my opinion are well worth it if you can find something good to convert them to, if not stick to level 4 blitzing
