Right expect this to get flamed rotton (it is c+p after all) but any chance we can start a new list of those old school pirates that will always honor 1v1's and ransoms (yeh my spelling sucks)
At mo all i can think of is
Honors (Most of these have been confirmed by 6 or more sources.)
Jerk Cartel (will always honor ransoms but for 1v1's make sure you have something you can Copy paste saying they confirmed it.)
The Black rabbits/The Gurlsta Associates
Veto (They honor ransoms, but their corp policy is to not accept 1v1's so they neither dishonor them nor partake in them)

I am posting to advise that scum. Alliance does not honor 1v1 agreements.
I had one such formal, quite explicitly worded agreement dishonored not five minutes ago. I was able to destroy the dishonorable party's space faring vessel, and pod the perpetrator, but despite this I am certain that similar incidents will continue to occur. Luckily, I was able to escape with my spacecraft intact, before being destroyed by the dishonorable pilot's friend.
Justice has been served, but be warned.
Further, this thread of discourse seems a suitable place for us to advise that PODLA honors all formally arranged 1v1 and ransom agreements.

As stated in the list, Blood Money Cartel have very strict policy for honoring all ransoms and all 1vs1. In the cartels history, there is 0 case where cartel member would have dishonored ransoms.

Personaly I have never dishonored a 1v1 ( and there must have been 50 or so of of them).
I have always honored ransoms (quite a few).
Unfortunatly this morning Tuskers (who I have fought, day in, day out for many years), gave me the first opportunity to say they are actualy not to be trusted. I appreciate one pilot's words cant undo a very respectable reputation but I will be happy to provide the op with the various game and chat logs I have. Pilots are judged by the company they keep and unfortunatly this pilot is a well respected memeber of the Tusker community.
