hmmm...wonder why this tread got locked down...??? Wierd!!
So I'll post this again in a new thread and it will have content
Just one simple question...seriously no smack intended!!
Why did IT cyno out their carriers when they realized they were not going to be able to save the POS and not hide behind the shields? Before IT jumped out the IT/INIT fleet had the number and DPS advantage!
TEST and their fleet were there to take down the POS or lose every ship trying to accomplish that goal. We were very dissappointed when IT fleed the flield. It would have been an awesome fight instead of a just a "chicken shoot".
But since that other thread Linkage got locked down by the forum police I think I know why IT ran...NNNNOOOOO, i'm sure that had nothing to do with it....nevermind...alliance tournament expert commentators part of IT....No can't be.........u mad bro?

It really was a surprise seeing all of IT just leave mid-fight. Sure, a few IT carriers might have been lost if they had stayed, but they had the numbers, reps, and dps to put a hurting on our fleet and send us all home in our pods.
All I'm saying is, with friends like these, INIT. has a much bigger problem than just having TEST in their back yard.

Not much has changed from 08 either, IT/BOB still abandoning their allies and leaving them to die when it serves them best.
Largest alliance in Eve and they haven't accomplished much of anything, no wonder corps are leaving and looking for the exit. But hey, you still have x13 to prop up the rotting corpse of an alliance called IT.

There is another eve phenomenon you might not be aware of, it's called killing fleets while you are outnumbered.

55+ Carriers doesn't really mean anything against such a large fleet. Technically leaving the field was a good idea, the only part of the entire incident that is surprising is that IT didn't merge fleets with INIT to let them use their cyno. Neither IT nor INIT were willing to drop supers because they did not know whether or not we had a cap fleet standing by, and they didn't want to escalate the encounter.
