as far as i remember, BE were always freelancing. strange thing - to see them got involved in AAA¦s affairs in first place.
Why is this so hard to understand, I already explained it.
We joined -A- because we were given systems and we paid to upgrade them, thus resulting in an income of around 2 billion a week. I know I can only plex for so long! lol
As for why we left -A-... it something like this........
BE - okay we are getting invaded but if we try to use our tactics on an alliance level we can own all of them including PL!
-A- leadership - ZOMG PL is here we cant do anything man, we're doooooooomed!
BE - No we arent we have a large enough cap fleet to stand with these guys lets try at least!
-A- leadership - No way man.... no WAY!!!! we'll just let them take it and then when PL and the rest leave we'll take it back! No sense risking our cap fleet, but we'll suicide drake fleet after drake fleet for fun into their cap blob!
BE - You are just going to roll over and die!? Well screw you we're out of here!
And now we shoot them all! Most -A- pilots are great, but the leadership was very cowardly, and Im not a big fan of that. BE may be in GE-8 but dont make a mistake that Im helping them. Ill shoot an -A- guy over an IT guy any day!

Personally, I walked into BE with the attitude that all of -a- were ***gots. Then we started flying with HAVOC, and I was like, all of former -a- are ***gots, except HAVOC, then I met Makalu, and was like all of -a- are ***gots, havoc are chill, then I met a few more guys, and most of -a- guys are pretty chill. Except Makalu, he's a ***got.
As for Init, Sis bliss, Codin, and Roemy are old friends of mine, they're pretty chill guys, but I'm going to make space orphans of their space children if I can. (Yes, I expect their respective space wives to be overwrought with grief and die as well).
I guess what I'm trying to say here is that Airdefense is a ***got.
