Hello, citizens of New Eden.
Nowdays, we face a threat to all that's close to us. Sansha are coming, and they will try to take what they can, for their own.
Their leader claims that he knows us, capsuleers, better then we know ourselves. Well, we think it's a pretty damn good time to prove him wrong.
As the the CEO of RED Alliance, i officially declare a war against sansha theat.
Our fleets will try to stop sansha at any place in the galaxy, where can we come in time. We have already proven, that our intentions are not ill willed, as, today, we have fought in Amamake, killing 1 sansha carrier. http://kb.redalliance.ru/index.php?op=kill&id=463174 Citizen astur was killed and podded. Sadly, the Wyvern class wessel escaped, as we were not completely prepared for such a tactic. But we will be, next time.
Citizens of New Eden, know, that our fleets will help you kill sansha, and will not harm you in lowsec systems (except of pirates, and those who try to attack us).
United shall we stand against the sansha threat. “There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt.”

So does this mean that your forces will no longer attack anti-Sansha capsuleers responding to an incursion?
When your pilots started firing on us in Amamake today, it certainly didn't feel like you were declaring war on Kuvakei. It felt like RED Alliance was stabbing the rest of New Eden in the back.
If it was an honest mistake, fine. I understand, but we need to work out a way to prevent friendly fire in the future.

Edited by: Danor Drekar on 13/12/2010 02:02:25 The extra assistance is appreciated but I have some concerns about your policy to not harm us except for pirates and those who try to attack you. I was in one of the anti-Sansha fleets today and one of ours said that the RED Amamake fleet fired on him and posted a killmail. Much of the fleet didn't enter the system for fear of RED's reputation for killing anything and everything. Perhaps you want to dispute this, but you didn't seem to have any trust within the SYNEPUBLIC fleet. |

I was on the field in my Tempest class battleship during the recent battle in Amamake and I was neither locked nor fired upon by the Red Alliance fleet. Red Alliance's generous help against the Sansha threat is most welcome.

Perhaps not, but their own killboard shows 14 non-Sansha kills in Amamake during the incursion:

If fear of our "allies" is going to keep capsuleers from fighting Kuvakei than we are better off without them. If RED Alliance is truly against the Sansha menace, then they will immediately denounce what happened and condemn piracy in all its forms.
I for one would certainly welcome such formidable force for good to the battlefield.

yet members of RED alliance attack those defending against nation aggression?
perhaps leaving the 'opportunities' until after nation are defeated would help.

sadly that is not true as i clearly saw the red alliance forces quickly attacking any vessels not in their fleet at the sansha wormhole, i was there well protected with cloaking technology and recorded the incident with my onboard systems

http://kb.redalliance.ru/?op=kill&id=463163 this was a mistake. The pilot that aggroed that poor retrubution was punished.
Yet all other killed ships were either pirates (ss -5 or lower), or were just blinking red in the overwiev. (Maybe they took some loot from wrecks, i don't know).
We do not need loot from wrecks, we do not need the salvage from sansha ships. We only come to stop the common threat. Tho, due to game mechanics, if you take soething that isn't yours BEFORE we leave the system, such "random firing" may happen (if i'm not mistaken, salvagin doesn't set an aggro btw).
So until anyone, willing to fight with us against the sansha, behaves well, there will be completely no problem. “There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt.”

What of this?
http://kb.redalliance.ru/?op=kill&id=463220
I am willing to allow for the fog of war, it was an expendable ship after all, but I was doing nothing but approaching the Sansha fleet. I had warped in at 100km to recon and was targeted when I was still tens of kilometers away.
As I said, the ship was expendable, but I lost good crew and Amamake II lost hundreds of thousands of people because of the delay that these "mistakes" caused. We need to work on preventing friendly fire because it costs lives- lives that don't have clones.

United!!?!
The Sansha Incursion into Amamake last night saw T.R.I.A.D send a fleet of 23 strong to defend against the Nation forces alongside a second fleet of Matari warriors. Multiple members of our fleet were locked by Red Alliance and the order was made to fall back to Ossogur. Here several other fleets were preparing to make way into Amamake, but as mentioned above, they too seem to have been aggressed by you and their Fleet Commander made sure they were kept safe.
I can only hope that your actions resulted in you feeling the brute reality of the Sansha threat.
Your actions last night only resulted in the loss of many civilians and for that there can be no forgiveness.
Your actions leave you far from united with many...
