Does anyone have any advice on how to keep a planet from getting depleted? I'm beginning to look at doing some PI in highsec (would love to do it in null though ), and was wondering on how to keep my planets from getting depleted. Any thoughts or advice?

If you want to do PI in null-sec go do it. You are the master of your own destiny.
Planets do not deplete. The output will lower based on how many PI setups are there, but there is a minimum that you won't sink below.

Well it's the access. I have no access to null sec atm. Been looking at moving out to null but haven't found anything promising. A wh would be awesome too.
Okay I thought they depleted. So output is lowered based on the amount of CC's on the planet or the concentration of extractors in an area on a planet?

In my experience, unless you are running a lot of 5 minute extraction cycles, or setup on-top of another colony, you will not deplete a planet.

That's the way it was intended but it doesn't seem to be implemented yet.

I wonder if that will be implemented in the new version of PI that is coming out in January...

I haven't seen any mention of this, and I seriously doubt they would. The changes they are making, like queuing extraction cycles, is going to (or attempt to) attract more people into PI. Considering where market prices are now compared to pre-PI levels there is certainly not an over-supply (specifically pos fuels). Why would they want to tighten the market up even more? Besides, there's already more than enough people that gripe about PI.
