I'd honestly rather deal with an Eve Uni blob over a pack of anti-pirates.
I quite fondly remember my days in the ex-alliance (now non existing) when we were roaming Caldari lowsec as anti-pirates. It seemed to me that wherever we go, so called "pirates" got out of our way while smacking in local.  The only ones who deserved respect at that time were The United from Negative Ten.

Actually, I think if you were to start a thread in Features and Ideas laying out why ninja salvaging is badwrongfun, you'd find both ninjas and missioners can whine to such a degree as to make anti-pirates slink away into a dark corner, ashamed and dejected at the weakness of their whine-fu.

There are 2 types of PVP'ers in Eve, those who "gf" after a fight and have a friendly chat after some decent PVP or those who just smack like an immature preteen regardless of the outcome.
I for one have been NRDS/Anti-Pi my whole Eve life and have flown with most of the other NRDS/Anti-Pi out there and I can assure you that they aren't smack talking babies as you put it. Every now and then I come across smack talking ragers who fly under the NRDS/Anti-Pi flag but I, my Alliance and our Blues generally distance ourselves from them rather quickly.
You will be hard pressed to find any smack by me, my Alliance and our Allies over the course of our Eve life. Clever witty banter to make someone rage out, absolutely, but smack no.
Dont go painting us all with the same brush, look harder and try find some professional NRDS/Anti-Pi next time instead of rage babies.

I spent a few weeks harassing you guys in and around Stacmon. Out of all the people I have ever PVP'd against your Alliance was the biggest bunch of smack talking whiner cowards I have ever come across in all my time in Eve. Even the other decent pirates use to complain about ye.
So your entire Alliance tactic was, gate camp a hi sec gate on the low side with 20-30 ships and gank all the single players that came in, then smack like ye were Gods. Then run away as fast as ye could if any decent PVP'ers showed up and keep smacking like running away was a victory for you. Even Muppet Ninjas and the Roo's with lasers use to ***** about how immature you were.
Embarrassment to the professional pirate trade is all ye are.

I love players who roam/control areas of low/null sec and kill anyone who tries to pass. Those types of pirates are  . I love going through the Curse region. Everyone I've ever seen in there has been awesome.
But when I see 5 pirates who finds a 0.5 system that has a decent L2 agent and sits at the 0.4 system next door ganking noobs that are in cruisers.. That's just  . What's worse is you occasionally will find someone who rakes in 5-10 kills per day, every day, for months on end in the same system. Every kill mail is against a pve mission ship. There are no groups of kill mails that are close together in time. And all of them are 5v1's. That's not piracy. Why do I dislike those people? Complete lack of honor, prestige, and character. It's justifiable that most of EVE treats those types of players without any respect.
Rancer, Amamake, etc - Fine. That's pirating. Camping those gates is awesome use of game mechanics IMO. There is nothing more entertaining than seeing a group of players block off low sec passageway between two major hubs. It's very healthy for the economy. Lots of things get blown up in those systems.
There are a lot of different types of people who could be classified as true low sec pirates. Anti-pirates are likely really only against a small subset of them.

I can confirm Spartan's assessment. scum alliance are from our experience whiners. They also rarely engage anything that meets their fleet size and egress all else.
Good fights are hard to find and you have to work hard but a big shout out to the old Space Pig Crew who operate out of Hagilur. Rikki_******o and a few others are all that remain, but they still come out and bring some good fights.
The biggest babies are probably MEAN Corp. These guys used to be a force but have fallen pretty far and mostly gank bots passing through. Last weekend saw us engaging their fleet that included a Phoon, Aramgeddon and a Vindicator that was camping the gate to Eifer. We lost a Hurri but managed to net their Phoon (Colonel Kurtz). I'm sure the Vindi pilot broke his mouse pressing the warp button to get out of this fight and the Arma ran as well before we could get all 5 of our blob fleet (Drake, Myr, Hurri and 2 rooks) on the field.
The esteemed Colonel Kurtz was so upset at his loss, he even sent me an email taunting us to come back. The local log is below as well.
To summarize, I don't know why people get so upset. If you're a pirate and gate camp, you better expect someone is going to hand you your butt at some point. Our corp flies anti-pirate and we expect to lose ships. We always try to GF and respect those who stand up and fight hard.

Smack is just a child's way of taking words like "mom", "donkey" ,"flour" , "sister" and "wetpatch" and combining them and similar words into random sentences to try insult someone with zero style on your part.

TBH, I havent seen much whining either from pirates or anti pirates...the odd PVE'er or clueless wanderer i find sometimes whine and groan in local, but as they are rare, that is rare. FW people can sometimes get feisty, but even that is comparatively rare. I dont think any group is full of whiners, its just that whiners, as individuals, are part of every group.
Not so sure what everyone is finger-pointing and kvetching about, really.
