I did a superficial search to see if I could find anything on this problem, as well as talked on help to see if anyone had a fix, and was told to post here. When running missions, a lot of the deadspace NPC stations and station ruins, especially the Amarr ones, are a very bright red color rather than the normal goldish color that they are supposed to be. This problem has been occurring since the deployment of Tyrannis and I find it kind of annoying. Is there any easy way to fix this? I was told that usually restarting takes care of it, but it's been happening for months now. Thank you.

I just assumed the bright red meant radioactive ruins - I didn't realise it was a bug. I've only been playing 3 months, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but some stations have always been red.
Example: Ruins near Uemisaisan-Isanamo gate, station in mission where you need to "mine" the radioactive meteor to save the station.

i have the same issue,
it also appears in certain capital ship wrecks, for example; the chimera and the nidhoggur.

It goes away if you turn your shader quality to low. Try it after the mission space is safe, you can make the stations got from normal to red and back again.
I bug reported this months ago, bug#99612. I was asked for additional info, which I supplied. Since then it has sat "unfiltered", apparently forgotten by CCP.

I am still getting this glitch (May 2011).... really annoying, I've just kind of ignored it for months but it'd be nice if it were fixed.

I finally got a reply to by bug report #99612: Attached to a defect. So at least its acknowledged as a bug.
