Too many times I've seen people getting confused over what time things are happening in Eve compared to their own timezone, but luckily for us someone at microsoft must be an Eve player because windows has the ability to show you both Eve time and your local time together.
So, here's how you do it:
1. Click on the clock in your windows task bar and select 'change date and time settings' 2. Open the 'Additional Clocks' tab 3. Check either one of the 'Show this clock' boxes 4. From the drop-down select '(UTC) Coordinated Universal Time' (maybe should be CUT but I didn't make up the names!) 5. Enter whatever name you want for the clock - I call mine 'Eve Time' 6. Click 'Apply'
Now simply hover your mouse over the clock on your taskbar to see both Eve Time and your local time, sure makes life a lot easier than having to count forwards or backwards on your fingers!!
Enjoy!
PS.. If you like this and want to say thanks you can send me some isk towards my new ship!!

Edited by: Taram Caldar on 15/12/2010 15:28:26 Note: This is only available in Windows 7/Vista If you do not have Windows 7/Vista you can follow these simple steps:
Open the game Look at the clock Look at your clock Note how many hours separate your clock and the EVE clock
Remember time difference
Voila, problem solved.

It's mostly a compromise between the English Coordinated Universal Time (CUT) and the French Temps Universel CoordonnT (TUC).

Does this count as a subtle form of begging?

LOL yup, that too. I have never, ever, understood why anyone has trouble with EVE time. Seriously how hard is it to remember that you are X hours behind/ahead of the game and just do basic math.

Time is meaningless and yet it is all that exists.
How's that for a sense?

1) Set your PC time to (GMT) 2) look at watch to know local time 3) ??? 4) profit --
