Why is there no medium drone skill
There is a Scout Drone skill (increases range by 5000m per level)
There is Heavy Drone skill (5% more damage per level for heavy combat drones)
But there is no skill to boost for medium drones?
Or do the bonuses of Scout Drone and Heavy Drone skill apply to medium drones. Does level IV Heavy Drone Operation actually give a 20% bonus to med drones too for instance?

heavy drones skill gives +5% dmg to all drones
scout drone operation gives +5000m range on all drones

I tought that Heavy Drone skill affects only heavy drones, not light or medium.

simply says "5% bonus to drone damage per level". No mention of size.

If you check the attributes tab you can see that only heavy drones have the damage bonus. Only the modifiers on the attributes tab are valid, the description is sometimes outdated or just incorrect.

All drones receive the bonus from Scout Drones skill.
As far as I know, only heavy drones receive the bonus from Heavy Drones skill.

On a drone related note.
The mining drone skill doesn't appear to work. I trained it up and there is no increase in yield per drone....  |

yesterday it worked.
basic miner drones have a yield of 10m¦. kernite has a volume of 1.2 m¦. i have the skill at 4 each drone brought me 10 kernite = 12m¦.
however if you look at the drone stats, your skill is not factored in.
if your skill applies test with veldspar since with that you should get no rounding errors. (eg. with skill at 1 you would not mine 12 kernite only 8 (8.75 units rounded down.)) |
