Okay, what's this I hear about Secure Containers being unscannable? I never heard of that! So, a Secure Container is like your own private mini-Orca bay that people can't scan for content from the outside?
People told me this on help-channel; but I still can't believe it. :) Seeking confirmation, please.

Whether or not it's true, they have such tiny capacity that you can't do a lot with them.

Umm... no
When someone uses a Cargo Scanner on you, it'll look something like
Ship
Bullets x50
Giant Secure Container
- Epic Loot
- Fancy Stuff
- Please Don't Steal This
Small Secure Container
- Priceless BPO
- PLEX x74
The only "unscannable" storage is corp hangars on an Orca or Capital ship. |

A mere container will NOT hide your stuff.
Stuff in a can, inside a courier package... will show up as a can. See a can in a courier pack and think "Pinata". Much violence and lulz ensue.
Orca Corp Hanger and Ship Maint Bay (and Ore Hold) are completely unscannable. Trash to priceless goodies, all out of view, and unrecoverable in an explosion. (Yup, no loots for the pirates in those holds. Regular cargo hold scans and loot will drop normally)

Ok, so from what i am reading if you put say, 13x 425mm Autocannon II into a large secure container, then put the container in the ship, if someone scans your ship they will see the container, and a list of the items in it?

No, not even that. Most of the time, unless you jump through a few hoops, containers don't show up at all. The scanner just lists the contents ù in your example, the autocannons ù and unless you've managed to pull off the trick of getting one container inside another, they will never show up on the scan list.
