I seem to remember something about MWD being usable in missions after the most recent patch, anybody known if this has arrived yet or is it due soon?

You can use them in any non-deadspace mission. But so far I have not seen anyone able to use them. I last tried about a month ago just to see. I don't think CCP wants a frig in a Lv.4+ tanking an entire mission grid.

CCP was considering it (allowing MWD's in all missions), don't know what happened to that.

Added to final patch the 18th 01.2011 and new U.I.

FYI MWD already work in a lot of missions, generally speaking if the mwd will help you get it done faster (ie you need to fly a ways to get to a gate) then it wont function, but in anything where it's simply going to let you get into shooting range it's fine, and that includes lots of multi gate missions like extravaganzers

mwd works in non-deadspace missions only.

It already works in several deadspaces too.
And in january it will work in all.
