We all know that CCP is neutral to bots if it doesn't include RMT. But even then it is still ok in certain circumstances for instance that guy from KIA who helped host an alliance tournament in Iceland and is friends with several devs. He was shown to bot and rmt but CCP was ok with it.
Lets face it there are bots everywhere in eve and CCP allows it. Just look outside station you will see at least a couple macro magnates going by at any given time. Most of the bigger botting networks are in GM alliances in 0.0 like IT ect. but pretty much every region and even alliances with no GMs alts in them.
I propose selling a good bot which you can buy with plex. The bots on google for instance often cost money and only some are free. This would let players be legal and shutup everyone about bots. EVERYONE uses them and its known about but this way it could be more open and just less potential for annoying adds on the bots. Because it would be for plex and CCP could make money to and we could make more ISK with the better bot.
Perhaps a subscription based bot but with plex?

Stupid idea because bots cause lag too. CCP might as well sell ISK at the rate the bots can earn it, e.g. 23/7 bot earns 5b/month, then sell that amount for a monthly fee. Outrageous price, but if that's what bots earn, it's already happening.
How to PVP: 1. buy ISK with GTCs, 2. fit cloak, learn aggro mechanics, 3. buy second account for metagaming

the obvious solution to botting is a riddle before your bounty prize/loot gets to your wallet/inventory

I just wish all this OMGBOTZ would go away. Its just silly. EvE has always had botting, EvE will always have botting. Its a problem and I don't condone it, but every third thread being about how the evi bots are ruining our game is getting annoying.

So it is a problem but you wish to have no discussion and proposals about fixing it, or at least removing the impact on other players?
The fact that apparently you can get 18b/month (or 50b, depends on who you believe) for the cost of one monthly subscription fee, seems rather outrageous to me, but at least it makes RMT unattractive when it is widely known. After all, ISK from botting is much cheaper and apparently risk-free.
Perhaps CCP should start limiting active play time, for example to 20 hours/week. Active play time would be "undocked and not (idle or chatting only)", so most normal players would not be affected. People who mine/rat more than 20 hours/week need help anyway. ;-)

No everyone does NOT use them. I don't use them. The idea behind playing a game is to... actually... PLAY IT. Not bot your way through it. Many people I talk with feel the same way. i.e. Cheaters are simply losers. Regardless of how uber they feel they may be in game, they are still losers because they had to CHEAT their way to that point, so everything they have accomplished is ultimately worth nothing because they didn't EARN it.
People who think they need to cheat to get ahead... are just sad individuals. I do well, enjoy the game and do not cheat to get what I have. I have pride in what I own as I EARNED it by my own hard work. Cheaters can't say that.

It's clear that the more disadvantaged people feel in life the more likely that are to cheat.
Russia: Bot and cheat in every game.
Mainland China: Will find anyway they can to cheat but will also turn themselves into bots.
Europe: Hates itself mainly in places but normally are to emo to bot... the french are busy dancing or something painting I dunno
Pleaces like Iceland: Middle of bumb**** no where, will cheat and convince themself no body cares because they think nothing is effected by them ever which is largely true.
Africa: lol... no don't bot but for other reasons.
Various other brown skinned people: mix of africa and places like Iceland.
Canada: Busy carrying motocross tires around in roadside cafes showing off to other canadians about having a tire. Or whatever Canadians do

Most people do, they just don't get involved in RMT. They do it for their corp, alliance or personal wallet. Just don't feed your russian kids and pay for your rent with RMT or buy isk from RMT sites and you cool bro
