Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible for us to get an European Eve Store open.
The reason it's that the FedEx' Shipping Tax it's way too high.
I know the amount of items to be purchased does not matter for the shipping tax, but paying $62.98 for a ~$30 order, i find it wrong.
The shipping tax it's 2x Price of the order....
Subtotal: $32.98
MethodRate
FedEx International Economy $62.98
I wanted to buy from Jinx.com instead, but they got only 4 T-shirts. At least they got a way lower shipping tax(Delivery via USPS).
Subtotal: $39.98
Standard International: $11.80
So, it is possible for us to get an European Eve Store, please ?

anything that makes the eve store suck less is good.
heck I wouldn't mind the store to stay in the states, if they stopped using the piece of crap that is FedEx

This has been an issue for AGES and CCP claimed a couple of years ago that they are doing something about it.
Would be nice if it was true

Also. Fedex have been trying to bill me for a delievery, even though it's paid as part of the order, so I pretty much can't use the store anymore, as I am not paying the insane shipping rate twice.

CCP has said they are looking into it several times... but It's not likely to happen before the new year

I won't buy anything from Eve Store as long as they're using FedEx.
Too bad, you got awesome products, but only for few people: US Citizens.

the problem is fedex also make you pay extra tax ontop of the delivery, which i think is wrong, CCP needs to get it sorted asap

An enterprising fellow could help out by taking orders and reshipping, although CCP would likely ban them QQ

I stopped buying stuff from the EvE store cause of Fedex.
They charge me $80 for a $100 item (the backpack). Then had insane customs charge...and on top of that Fedex sent me a SEPERATE bill of another $70 which they told me are "Fedex charges"
Not buying anymore until they remove the piece of **** Fedex crap.

I ordered 2 eve shirts from J!NX this summer, when there was a sale. Had to ship em back due to wrong size.
BUT when they came back the sale was over, and they marked the full price on the receipt, so I had to pay customs, etc, etc, etc...
Eventually I ended up paying for about 6 full-priced shirts.

VAT and customs duty. I imported a game from the US at the equivalent of ú20 inc postage. Then when it arrived here I got whacked with VAT and customs charges coming to another ú15 =|

Well I did a bit of googling around but didn't come up with anything, even here in the US - for a type of service that would work. Are there any services in Europe that could warehouse and ship items?
Seems to me that as the world globalizes more, someone with a warehouse would offer the service of warehousing and drop shipping specialty stores goods over seas from the retailers main warehouse.
Anyway, there is a free business idea for someone with a few hundred thousand $ they aren't sure what to do with.

shipping it would cost me 43 dollar and that's only the shipping costs and without border tax and all that crap!
so you think the cost of shipping an item at that price is worth it?

as far as i know you would still be paying 9+43 because value of the item is too low ;p
But for that price i rather buy dozen of clear shot glasses and paint them by myself
edit: my mistake. It all sums together so yeah, duty on your head.
