Ok, i've won a bunch of money and I want to cashout. What do I do?
Click the cashout button in the casino. As soon as I receive notice that you want to cash out the isk will be credited to your account ingame. Please note that I can't send you isk if i'm not online. You might want to check to see if i'm in the casino channel ingame and/or if i'm online according to your watch list ingame. As long as i'm logged in you should get your money within a minute or two. If i'm logged out it could take up to 12 hours to receive your winnings.
I deposited money with one character, but I want to send my winnings to another character. How do I do this?
You can't. As part of our provisional gambling license from Caldari State, we agreed not to engage in money laundering activities. The casino will only credit winnings back to the same player who deposited the isk. No exceptions. I don't want to get caught up by isk farmers who try to use the casino to obfuscate their transactions or hackers who steal eve accounts then try to hide the money. Any requests to send money to another account will be ignored.
Someone else is claiming to be an official casino representative, should i trust him?
No. The only official representative of Rothbard's Casino is Edwin Rothbard himself.
I think your random number generator is messed up as it seems 'streaky', is your RNG broken?
No, the casino uses dual white noise generators and one 'gambler' phase inverter to ensure good random number generation. Aggregate stats will be published on the casino website so you can verify the outcome of the games.
Your max betting limits are too low! I want to gamble more. Why won't you raise the betting limits?
A casino is only as good as it's ability to pay winners. We want to ensure that there is always plenty of cash available at the cashier's cage to pay any request for payout immediately. Hopefully we can raise the betting limits in the near future once we get a feel for how big the payouts will be for the casino.

The site was meant to be reliable, functional, and to run smoothly in the ingame browser. Personally I hate laggy sites, and I was determined that mine would run fast.

Yes! The first game at launch is Matari pick'em. The next game under development is called "Can Flip." This game will feature a grid of giant secure containers. It will cost 1m isk to click on a container. Every container will contain a prize. Some containers might contain a unit or trit or a metal scrap. Others will contain faction ships and plex cards! The third game the casino plans to launch is "The War Deck." This will be a take on the Card game called "War!" The fourth game slated for release is "Gotan's Modified Blackjack."
Are you going to offer poker?
No. I enjoy poker a lot, but I wanted to make a casino that pilots could enjoy in small chunks without a big time commitment. There are lots of time ingame where you are stuck waiting for a number of minutes waiting. I made the casino to fill those small gaps of time. Poker is a game that takes much more time to play a session. Additionally in casino games such as blackjack you are only playing against the house. In poker you are playing against other players AND against the house as the house almost always takes a cut of the action thus making it even harder to win. Lastly there's always the potential risk of player collusion in poker.

Thanks for trying out the casino! I think the vig is a bit high on the suit game and I might change the payout to 3.6 or maybe 3.7 to one to give players a better gamble. Thanks for the feedback. :)

In an effort to save money I hired this bloke from the Gallente Federation to work on the casino. When I gave him the payout schedule for the games I told him the payout was 3.5 to 1 on the suit game. Turns out he coded it as 4.5 to one thus turning a game for the house into a game for players!
Grim turned his 11m into 111.2m and then cashed out 100m of his profits.  That's the last time I hire Federation programmers to do any important work!

The payouts were increased a bit for a couple of the games.
Suit now pays 3.8 to 1 instead of 3.5 to 1 making it a better game for the players! Rank now pays 12.5 to 1 instead of 12 to 1 also making it a better gamble!

I know you covered this in the FAQ, but it needs to be reiterated. The Matari Pick'em game is very streaky and seemingly non-random.
If you were to toss coins until you hit 10 tails in a row, you would most likely be there for hours, throwing thousands of coins. But in the High Low Matari Pick'em game, things like that seem to happen very frequently. And streaks like that also always seem to happen in the favor of the Casino. I'm not saying that I have never had a winning streak, they just tend to be far shorter and less frequent than my losing streaks.
I don't want to call shenanigans, as I know I am paranoid and just assume everything is a scam, but this is really bugging me.

Players really like our "Can Flip" games. The only downside was that players didn't want to play after the grand prize had already been hit. This is understandable. Now, whenever the grand prize is hit on a can flip game, that game ends and a new one of that type will start up! This means that regardless of how many cans have been flipped you will always be able to win the grand prize! Thanks for everyone who gave feedback on Can Flip to help us make it a better game.

"Angels Extravaganza" Win a Machariel! 10m isk per flip!
The 2nd and 3rd place prizes are also listed for each game on the Can Flip page. All cans contain a prize.
We also improved "Matari Pick'em."
The betting limits for all Pick'em games were doubled. The new limits for high/low and suit are now 20m a hand. Rank now has a maximum bet of 10m per hand. Suit + rank maxium bet is now 2m a hand!
Players hate getting an 8 on high/low because you cannot win if the card is an 8. Some people say Edwin doesn't have a heart, and to prove them wrong from now on when you get an 8 of hearts on high/low you now get your bet back! You heard that right. The 8 of hearts is now a push card on the Matari Pick'em high/low game. This makes high/low and even better gamble for players because it reduces the house edge. Rothbard's believes in giving players the best possible gamble anywhere in the universe.

Really, REALLY fun and addicting. I first started out bored waiting for a manufacturing job to finish in 30 mins so i figured "Why not?" I threw some isk in and an hour later i find myself unable to stop playing after winnng a full set of +4 implants. Definately reccomending this to all my corpmates tomorrow when they log in.

Auto deposits are also now working at Rothbard's! Usually deposits and withdrawals happen within about 1 minute when i'm online, and now you can still get your game on when i'm offline. The API now posts new deposits to the casino once and hour (it does this near the top of each hour).
Players asked and we listened again. Players really like our 200k "Beginners Drake" Can Flip game and asked for another lower limit offering. Players suggested we add a game with a Noctis as the grand prize so we did. Come play the new "Waste Management" Can Flip for only 500k a flip.

This is by far one of the best things to keep ya entertained while waiting those last few minutes to reset your PI extractors.
Put in 30m, pulled 47m with more left in there to play around when bored.
Also it makes doing a 20 jump trip in a freighter enjoyable.

Congrats to Icarantus for winning our first ever "Mega Billions" lottery! He won a cool 1b isk! The lottery system is fully automated and our second "Mega Billions" is already underway. If you haven't played "Mega Billions" the tickets are only 1m each and winner receives 1b isk! Our first lottery took less than a week to sell out. We are already planning expand the offered lotteries to include some less expensive ones for pilots who are on a budget.
We are also pushing ahead to launch "Gotan's modified blackjack." Hopefully it will enter beta testing soon so we can work out the bugs and then it will be ready for primetime. I am personally really looking forward to offering blackjack as it's one of my personal favorites.

I must admit, I was skeptical when I heard about this casino from a friend. But, having tried it, I have to say it is very fun! Well after playing for a while I ended up doing quite well. Won a Noctis as well as a Drake...... only to lose them again :(

I've got a comment on the can flip:
A player knows that if the game is still in play, the maximum prize is still available. Each can costs the same amount to each player, every flip. Yet each can's probability of unturning a grand prize only grows with each flip. We can then predict from game theory that the dominant solution is to wait until everyone else has chosen a few cans and only a few green remain, in which case you maximize your chance of getting the grand prize.
You'll have to give us some statistics on how often this game is played, but judging by the number of green cans in most games I'm guessing this is what everyone is waiting for...
Just my .02 isk.

I zero'd your balance and sent the money from your casino account to your eve account in game. I did this because you were flooding the web server with page requests. You were making upwards of 20 bets per second at times. There were some 3000+ bets placed from your account in one 5-minute period.
Even after I zero'd your balance you were still flooding the web server with page requests for a number of minutes afterwards. My guess is you are using an automated script send server requests as fast as possible. This causes an extremely high load on the web server which degrades the service for all users.
Most websites don't take kindly to be flooded with lots of automated page requests. That includes mine.

 It's not a 50/50 game. The 8 is a neither high nor low. Your balance should approach zero in the long run. This is how casinos make their money.

I had a good time at Rothbard's. I know Edwin Rothbard from the time he was a client of ours, and he's always a welcome customer.
Anyway . . . the Matari decor is fashionable but subdued, the games are fun and interesting, the waitresses from Rens were cute and friendly, and the drinks were excellent. Both buying and selling of chips was efficient, and the dealers were fast and personable. I even won a little money too. Highly recommended; I'll definitely let friends and crewmembers know about this place.

I started off playing this and lost 10 mil in about 2 mins flat, I thought I might be getting scammed, but I was enjoying it so I decided to put in another 10 and sure enough I won pretty big, cashed out 21 mil and still have 10 in chips :D the deposit was instant, withdrawl took 2 mins, I also want to add they have a lot of selection of games, lottos, pick a can it might win you a plex, blackjack, and another card game I haven't tried, they are friendly and helpful, I hope lots more people come so he can make a bunch of isk for his trouble setting up a casino for eve. I was skeptical at first as we all know everyone is out to get you in eve online but I really wanted a Eve Casino.... So I tried it wit a few mill figurin shouldnt be tooo bad. I playd alil blackjack that was fun.... and I tried can flipp... and heres where it got interesting... on my second can of the 200k/can pick. i won the grand prize of the drake. I was so confuzed i had to reread the sentence a few times to understand why all the cans had disappeared.... so if I wake up tommorow with a drake hull for the ticket of 200k I will be a very satisfied patron of this seemingly so far fine establishment. I've deposited 5m isk, recieved 1m for making an account.
After that i saw a cool button named "Can flip" and i found out it was a game. After winning alot of scourge missiles, and metal scraps, i went to the reward system, and saw a list of all the prices i earned. I pressed the "cashout" button, and instantly the money was on my account aigan. The most amazing thing is, most of it is done manual, not via api, to give the costumers the best experience.

Great site. The Black Jack is very user friendly. The math is even done for you as the cards are dealt which makes it easier for you to play as the drinks are delived. **Don't forget to tip your waitress**

I deposited 10m isk, it took 10-20min MAX, after that I tried playing one of his game and won 5times more then
I deposited...talk about luck/best odds :). Anyway I tried to cash it out and got it after some minutes.

I was floating around on my way to a mission when I saw his can advert. I checked it and decided to give it a shot. When i registered I mesed up and sent the wrong email address so.... I added Edwin Rothbard as a contact.. The man was online and quickly updated it and got me rolling. He put in the 1m isk deposit as promised for signing up before I even got to fund the account myself. I've been playing blackjack and can flip.

Luckilly when i came for my first try at the casino, Edwin was online, and as soon as i made my account i was invited to the casino chat.
