No, I'm not going to ask why the price just jumped by a 100mill. I already have a rough idea about that from reading other threads.
I want to know if the price will ever drop back to where it were or if this is gonna be the new Orca price from now on.
I'm asking this because I've been planning on investing in an Orca for a while now and I've got about two weeks of skill training left until i can fly one. I don't want to end up spending a lot of isk now and find out a few weeks from now that the price has dropped again.
I would really appreciate if someone answer my little question.

If you feel Orcas are orverpriced you could buy a nice BPC off me (or a kit with the capital components I have spare ATM) and then buy the minerals and have it made.
I can make it to you directly if you provide the minerals - Auditing & consulting

It will certainly go down. Capital parts went up quite a bit (with current Jita prices, perfect build cost is only 900k below sell orders) so, even if mineral cost is probably quite lower, don't expect manufacturers to crash prices down atm (wouldn't expect it back below 400m before a few weeks at least) _ WTS Capital BPOs |

Mineral prices have spiked up somewhat (most notably nocx, but as I recall also mega and zyd). This will eventually be carried through to end-prices for Orcas, and my guess is prices will not drop TO WHAT THEY WERE without mineral prices dropping first.
That said, IMHO prices on orcas (and most any other ship which spiked right around the 15th) will drop significantly once supply satisfies the demand blip. If you can afford to wait a month or two, you probably should.

Thanks for the advice. I still have some skill training to go before i can fly an Orca and a bit more beyond that to be able to put on a proper tank so I guess I can wait for a month or two until I buy one.
