same with my transfer.
In fact, they banned me again (ban first then investigate policy).
I am getting sick of this ****.
They are holding a large sum of isk and 90 mil char hostage for a legit char trade between me and another person.

Yep, haven't explained why they have stopped the transfer just that they have, have been replying to there petition to no avail.
Is this how you treat your customers CCP?

I'v bought a char this morning, everything was legit (from my side anyway) sent my account name and transfered my isk.
I logged back in later only to see my isk refunded by a gm, i'v petioned but no response. its getting frustrating cos i cant go get another char until this is resolved. not sure if the guy i bought off was legit or tryin to scam me.

Curious if they are doing this because of the in-game bids? Could be some of these toons are being purchased with isk that was received from illegal isk sellers? I'd like to know what's happening before this happens to me too.

My character purchase went smoothly, started it last night, woke up and there it was. Just like normal.

Ive done lots of transfers and never had a problem, was expecting to see the character on my account this morning also was surprised to see it wasnt.
Also on a side note former alliance mates are reporting to me saying that the character i transfered in exchaned has been seen in local so wtf is going on CCP.
The guy has the character and all i have is the isk but not the character wtf CCP?

Amusing to see how many people think this has to be ccp's fault... the person selling might have done eligal trades.. might have bought isk eligal.. the buyer might have done so to... granted.. might be a GM to high on him/herself...
Never having had a bad experience with the gms here after about 20 petitions etc I can't really say anything but hey...
There is MANY reasons this could be done other then ccp being bad...
And they want to be sure before giving a answer as to why this has been done as well...
Just saying... might be more to the story then griefing...

The point is they stop the transaction with no explaination, give you no timeframe. So it is there fault, they may not be the cause of why its stopped, but they drag it on without any word as to why.
The seller in this case is me and i can honestly hold my hand up and say i have done nothing wrong, i have followed the rules.
All i want to know is why my character that was part of the trade has been online and some answers.
As they are ignoring me through the petition they started i have been forced to try to get an answer elsewhere.

They gave you your isk and he got the char back. IN other games if they found something fishy they'd lock your **** down for a week while they investigate and if they found that one of you broke the game rules, you'd likely not get it back. Oh not to mention character trading isn't sanctioned in those games either! Quit crying and find another char IMO....**** happens, deal with it.

hmmm i dont think you understand, i havent done anything wrong, i traded my character 88.9m SP for 11b and character with 43m SP.
None of my accounts are banned, i have the isk 11b, but my character 88.9m SP has left my account and the 43m SP character hasn't arrived, as CCP has stopped it as per the petition they send saying they were investigating.
The other guy i traded with is the one who has his account banned.
So as i stated i have done nothing wrong.

There is a distinct possibility that some illegal shenanigans took place on the account...or it could just be a mix up. I've not had a bad experience with any GM at all, but that is just me. It would be illogical for them to disrupt the character trade unless there was a seriously good reason. |

Something had to go wrong to give them the perception of illegal activity; maybe it was something in the characters history? Maybe it was traded before and it had something they missed? Flagged in error?

Locking thread. If you are having an issue with a character transfer the only way to see results will be to file a petition under Billing & Account -> Character Transfers.
