I'm wondering how people have fun making money in this game, because in someways, I really enjoy EVE, but making money is mostly boring for me.
I really dislike missioning, mostly because it's slow (or at least it is the way I do it and with my skills).
The most 'fun' I've had so far is actually corp mining ops, because you don't have to dock at a station every 5 minutes, and you can read a book or chat with people while you do it.
I was looking at PI as a fairly painless way to make money, but having tried it and realized that it's boring as balls, repetitive, and takes far too much clicking, I'm just staring at the wasted 1m SP in my character sheet. T_T

I'm pretty sure mining was put into eve so that even mentally handucapped children could play the game. But if you're afk reading a book that works to. But that means the fun part about it is being able to just afk i.e. not do it.

I just do what I like, isk comes by itself then. Instead of thinking on isk before fun.

Baiting Mission Runners and killing them 
Sweet talking them into fitting a rep & repping my alt who is agressed towards me. The Missioner is then flashy to me, I kill them.
Most of them have faction loot too.

Easiest way to make ISK in game is to send 1 bill to me and I will send 10 trillion back

Hard to say what I find the most fun when it comes to making ISK. Either mission running, salvaging, looting, mining, PI, transporting valuable goods, low sec roaming... other stuff.
I kind of enjoy travelling 15-odd jumps to Jita with 50-60mil worth of goods from PI in an Iteron. But for something I do on a regular basis... probably missioning; particularly in a fleet for level 4s.

I let my 3 account ice mining corp go to work while I read a book or serf the net. I have to transfer ore about every 3 minutes but that will not take me out of my trance.

Killing poorly fitted war targets and scooping their loot. Last time I made around 30mill off the loot they dropped.
Doesn`t happen that often tho  .

For years, I was an industry sucker. One day I realized EVE had truly become Spreadsheets Online for me. So I sold off my industry character for a ridiculous sum. I'm pretty sure I simply never have to worry about money ever again, unless I start being stupid and fly solo in faction ships or become an alliance-less cap pilot. 
...Of course, years of industry have left me with an overdeveloped sense of efficiency, which means I sit around doing nothing of consequence due to my implant-riddled body. 
I really need to make an alt, convince myself that efficiency is the enemy, and shoot at miners or something.  |

Exploration - Flying around in my exploration fitted Arbitrator in lowsec knowing that if anything larger than Starter ship engages me I'm dead. Not knowing exactly what a system will contain, on my own without team mates on voip, just chilling out to some good music and watching the beautiful scenery. I like the unknown, the on-off nature of finding stuff and having to dodge and outwit lowsec inhabitants. For me the most fun and relaxing method of finding isk.

I also like buying +5s in Jita and running them to minor trade hubs or mission systems. Money isn't spectacular, but the rush of having that much isk in the cargobay of my little frig is kinda fun. More fun than station trading, anyway.

I actually enjoy L3/L4 missions more now, and it's entirely because of the Noctis. :) I love that ship... Salvaging from 64k out is just sick. :)

my favorite way to get isk : work hard IRL to make money irl and sold GTC 60D @ 700M/unity... more rentable then anything without being nolife mod trader... ===> exit

Manufacturing.
I find it stimulating to build a spreadsheet of the buy/sell price of the inputs/outputs and computes the profit or loss from manufacturing, and the profit from trading.
This shows me when it is best to manufacture an item, or best to station trade it instead.

I used to destroy people's accomplishments in the game and things that had been built. Now I run courier missions (when the rewards aren't laughably low) which I think make people happy when they're completed. It also very slightly impacts the game and has a tiny bit of risk mixed with internet surfing.
Edit. Oh I also character trade.
