This would make the universe way more dynamic. Alliances could set up personal stations only they can dock at and strategically place them (station next to stargate? YES PLEASE!)
Since stations offer several advantages over a pos such as clone bays and the ability to charge per-dock, they could be an impressive addition to eve when placed in hi and lo sec.

High sec and low sec need far less dockable structures (station/outpost) not more. Also, 0.0 will be needed a destroy said structure function in the near future.

The only way that I would agree to this is that at the same time, outposts were no longer conquerable. You want a station in a system that already has one? Gotta follow the same rules as POS warfare.
Can't have yer own 'till you eliminate the one that exists.
