I copied the latest Tranq folder and files to my Sisi folder and fired it up, said it had to download about 4 megs or so, thats fine.
Started downloading, thats fine, then the repair tool started??
Then i have to wait for 1.41 GB to download 'Missing Data' repair it?????
'Downloading missing data: 0.0%, 0.0 bytes/1.41 GB, 0.0 bytes/s, 00m00s'
WTF is happening?

The size seems about right. What exactly is the problem?

Why is it downloading? What was borked?

Actually, 1.4 GiB is about right - I used the SisiLauncher last night and that's what needed to download. Since you did more or less the same thing ...
Also note that there's a pretty little progress bar at the top of the tool telling you the progress of the download.

I was a little alarmed cause usually just a rehash of the TQ client is needed + a patch. but seems to be a biiiiig update here

Don't forget that SiSi has to add all the data about the new character system, so that's probably a majority of the download.

Yeah, 1.4gig is ok. From one Sisi to the next we can get away with less or the same.. so, atmo it's not good for capped plans

The oh-so-special sisilauncher is pretty lame really,
it needs a "retry connection" option when you're downloading, if your connection is interrupted for even a second (lol even if it's 99.9% complete) it won't attempt to keep downloading data (so you hae to redo the whole f*cking process) even if the connection is re-establisehd or only suffered a super-short cut-out.

I didn't have quite the same reaction as Lady Aja, but I can't get the download to work either. Same error too.

You might have noticed that the SisiAutoInstaller is a BETA version.
So you might want to file a bugreport, instead of raging on the forums, as this will get your valuable information to the right people in the shortest amount of time.
