Currently I am researching everything about POS while I gather the mateirals to start one. I was checking if there was a link to a POS FAQ. If not, can someone knowledgable write one and sticky it?
General (stuff that should be in the FAQ):
What are the best practices for POS set up? How many Harvesters, couplers, silos, weapons, etc.
How to properly use probes.
Otherwise, here are a few of my questions
Specific:
Can you have more than one POS at the same moon?
Can you set all your harvesters to mine the same material?
Important stuff I learned: Always be sure to offline and unanchor all your other structures BEFORE removing all your fuel and offlining your tower.

If it can help, here's my POS Setup :
1*Amarr Control Tower
12*Various Sentry Gun (2*Large + 10*Small)
4*Various ECM
1*Reactor Array
1*Ship Maintenance Array
1*Corporate Hangar Array
3*Silo
3*Moon Harvester Array
i online-offline moon harvester and reactor depending what im doing

Can you set all your harvesters to mine the same material?
Each mining mod in the POS structure has a change type button.
This associates the type of material that will be allowed acces to the mod. Silos have the ability to hold anything. Tho to online a silo you change type to a specific type of material. In moon harvesters you change type and the the moon registers the items it has and then you can pick the type you want that harvester to mine.

Hmm,,, either I am confused, or the two post above contradict each other.
I understand you can select which type of material you wish to mine. Maybe my question wasn't clear enough. Let's say I have a moon that provides Chromium. Can I set up 3 moon harvesters and set them all to mine Chromium?

1 Moon Miner per mineral in a moon per abundance level.
So abundance of 1 means only 1 moon miner on the resource.
2 abundance, 2 moon miners.
3 is highest abundance I have seen.
