Quite a few pvp corps will recruit anything with a pulse. And of course thin out those who aren't going to be pvp material. But rookie friendly pvp corps are out there.

You might be more loosely defining new players than I am. The lowest SP requirement I've ever seen for a corporation is 4 mil, which was astounding to me, as the normal that I see usually runs around 10-15 mil on the low end. Either way, 4 mil does take a while after starting to get up too, so I generally still don't consider that as quite being a new player any more.

Just curious, with the "Missions" box, you link to the EVE-Survival mission survival guides, was there a reason to not link to the EVElopedia "Missions" page?
I wonder if the text in some of those boxes might be a bit more readable if you were able to blur the background? The only real problem is 'Contract Scamming' where the text is superimposed on the detail of a Phantasm.
edit: oh, and some way of highlighting the starting box, since it's in the middle. Perhaps simply invert it to be black-on-light?

This doesn't really help the fact that EvE already gets enough crap about being all about diagrams, graphs, and spreadsheets.
Even still awesome work. The only major thing i noticed was the lack of t2/t3 invention and manufacturing. Other then that looks nice.
