Ok ive already replied to some1s mail regarding drop out from the servers.
CCP is this am known issue or are you struggling ? ive been with you since beta and more than not i let al the other lopkced systems etc go but this node crahses or whatever it is etc are gettin and also making the game unplayable, in a way that you cant rely on your connection.
example i have 2 alts logged in 1 will drop other stays online fine, so its neither my connection or pcs,
Can you hurry if there are issues as this really is a subscription cancelling bug that honestly has been happening for 3 to 4 weeks now.
was in corp chat last night and i dropped i logged back in and slowly we all commented on it it must have dropped about 20 of us.]
Please sort make it better :)

Ditto, got about 15 dropouts last night, had to stop playing in the end as I was getting too annoyed and I couldn't do anything. Getting far too annoyed everytime I got my drones out to drop connection, then have to fly around the place picking them up hoping I wouldn't drop again. -----------------------------

Indeed, in a space of 10 minutes today I got viciously 'boinged' 3 times, it ended up with me being unable to log back in, period. Found out though Eve was only half to blame, the other half is my ISP Provider for being a bunch of useless *** *** who couldn't run a conveniance store.
Moral of the story, don't convo me if you work for Tiscali, unless you want a bounty on your head!

Ok, I just lost connection with my modem completely, making me not too sure whether it is CCP or not. Can everyone who is dropping please put down their ISP and their region, and then we can see if there is any connection. I work in IT and I know for a fact that one of BTs exchanges went down a few days ago, could possibly be related. Could also be nice if someone in CCP could post letting us know if they have any findings or what not. Anyway, I will start...

It has more likely something to do with your location ingame I think, node drops drop groups of people. It might be a problem with how some data is routed from diffrent carriers at the server location, but that would seem unlikely to me (though possible, but without server logs, data logs etc. it's just not possible to say for sure).

Only thing I've had is connection failure drops..not node drops as everyone else in the system is fine.

If it was ISP related...
I doubt people running two clients, would have one drop and not the other.

Indeed, I've used Tiscali services for like 4 years now. It was fine in the beginning, but this is getting worse and worse... I'm leaving as soon as my registration period dries up, which is October. It has gotten to the point where they've become the most awful Provider ever (their forum is crammed with complains all over). Oh and yes I got sent back to Desktop a few times lately, like 4 or 5 times. But then again I started playing anew only a week or so ago, hence I can't really tell. This was just a rant so you guys don't fall for it: Tiscali = Walk away. Untill further notice that is. I live and hope after all.

They created a serious problem, and it is NOT my "ISP." I have control of multiple BGP Autonomous Systems in various global locations so any argument it's my connection is simply unfounded. I have used at least 4 different machines with completely different setups and EVE was the ONLY thing installed except critical updates and service packs of course.
The problem started, or I should say got significantly worse about 2 patches ago.
Playing two accounts on the same machine in windowed mode used to be fun. Now I will get booted on one of them if they stay sitting or at random times when I open the character skill screen area. The rest of the times, it's random. The only way to maintain stability is play one account at a time and fullscreen. That's it, all other luxuries are gone sorry.
I'll be surprised if they fix this. After all.... it must be my problem

All the while I played EVE with no problems, quite often I leave the EVE game connected and running in the background for up to 12 hours at a stretch, no problems.
Then I too had this problem about a week ago. I lost connection to the server quite regularly, about once every one or two hours. Semi-consistent. I kinda found a solution (I think). Don't laugh, here it is:
I run bittorrent in the background. I put the EVE game client (and a bunch of EVE patch files) up for share and there are people downloading from me round the clock. That seems to do something to "hold the connection". I'm not too much of a techie, so I don't know the bits and bytes of these things, but it sems to work for me. Never once got disconnected again when my BT is active in the background.
I know this might just be coincidence or blind luck. If suddenly my connection to the EVE server starts going wonky again, I'll eat these words. But until then, I'm crossing my fingers and my eyes!

I usually get the "lost connection" like 2-5 times a day. Now since we have had a bad storm a couple of weeks down south in sweden, i'm not sure if it's because of that. Or CCP's server randomly kicking me just for kicks..

Just crashed out now, along with a few other members of my corp. They can get back in fine, yet i am greeted with a lovely message telling me
The specified proxy or server node (57451) is dead
I can log in on my other account fine in a different system

I tried to log into the big fleet fight in vv-v/Syndicate yesterday. The only thing I saw was Entering Game with Andrew Redburn for ~40Mins. I started the logging from ingame monitor. After a while server node crashed and I dropped. Tried another time, again logging activated.
If I got any usefull logs, I will gladly mail them to CCP, if this can help fix the problem.
Was wondering if it would work a few hours later, but today morning I could get as far as seeing a black screen after the "entering game with Andrew Redburn" but UNBELIEVABLE I could hear the warping sound in the background! A second try gave me again an error message about a server node being not available and the "Entering Game...." message...
That really sucks. Getting random connection losses when playing with 2 accounts in window mode sucks as well.
In overall EVE runs quite nicely, but the problems with huge fleet battles are just annoying...

Well I can't seem to do anything today, the Market isn't working at all, and if i try to leave a station my EVE window just goes to black with the music still playing.
I am only on a Free trail at the momment but this hardly incourages me to take the game up each month and pay for it.
