I've found that certain agents tend not to give faction kill missions as much as others. Is this to do with the division they're in? I can imagine that internal security division missions, being internal, wouldn't deal so much in faction stuff.
So? I haven't read anything to this effect, but it'd be great if I could find a 'sure thing' to avoid faction kill missions. Thoughts?

Agents that give most courier contracts and few combat missions obviously give less faction kill ones. Other than that, no difference between divisions. There is an imbalance between races, in that Gallente lvl4 combat agents give a lot of faction kill (Amarr) missions compared to other 3 races. There is no "sure thing" to avoid faction kill missions.

I rarely ever get any Anti Empire Faction encounter missions. Probably about 3% of the missions offered to me are Anti Empire Faction. The rest are always Anti Pirate Faction. Usually when I first start doing missions for a new Agent, that's when I'll get offered Anti Empire Faction encounter missions which I always decline.
I think that Agents located near enemy borders tend to offer more Anti Empire Faction encounters while Agents located in the middle of controlled space tend to offer more Anti Pirate Faction encounters.
Also I believe the game sorta remembers which type of missions (Empire or Pirate) the player accepts and completes and as the Agent effective quality standing goes up, that Agent will offer that type more often.
Then again it might also go by your Faction standings, meaning that the negative Faction standings you have will help influence the encounter missions the agent offers. I have an average Faction standing of +5.00 for all Empire Factions with only the Pirate Factions as negative standings.

In my experience, it entirely depends on the agent. By the looks of it, each agent has its own list of missions that (s)he will give you out of all the possible ones. Some agents simply have "better" lists (for some given purpose) than others. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

This appears to be the case. Or rather, a list on the basis of system more than agent. Same missions tend to be in the same system over and over again. Mission pool changed drastically after Tyrannis patch, as agents started sending to further systems.

Then I guess it all comes down to luck of the draw. Shame, that. I suppose it wouldn't be balanced if mission runners had a completely consequence free means of making money.

I want more anti faction missions.
infact i believe that all hi sec missions SHOULD be anti faction. have bounty missions in low sec .
either that or ccp should have the option to do a anti faction version of all mission if the pilot desires.

I smell a fail troll.
In case this is serious, no, tags would end up being nearly worthless, and one of the two main isk faucets in the game (mission bounty, the other one being sanctum bounty) would be gone, resulting in runaway deflation.

aja is dead serious on this one

I can compare stats with you or anyone else at anytime. I can even give a list of missions completed along with where and when. I've done missions for all different Factions, for different Corporations and different Agent Divisions in different areas or Regions of space. Your reply in agreement with Tippia is incorrect and doesn't prove anything. Your statement to my reply proves that you're nothing but a biased troll.

yes i sure am serious.
tags have a SET worth from npc buy orders. so they will always be worth what they are really worth
1st. Pirate ships should not be allowed into hi sec at all. 2nd. a lot of hi sec gankers use hi sec lvl 4 agents to fix thier sec status. I say let them choose. become real pirates or head to low sec/0.0 to fix thier sec stats 3rd. i want moar anti-matar missions lol.

There is too much trolling on those forums.
Pirate ship's market is in highsec. And lvl4s isn't how you grind sec. It only updates once per tick per system, no matter how many rats you kill. You have to rat while going through different systems.

More trolling. There is no correlation between faction kill mission rates and how close an agent is to the boarder. It's based on a pre-made list for each agent at each system.

If that is indeed true, then prove it instead of post trolling. Actually, I'd like to see your stats since you seem to think you've done missions for all Factions and Agent Divisions everywhere.
