Hey, another one of these threads 
No matter, hybrids need to be fixed and there's been no official news on the balancing.
EVERYTHING is wrong with hybrids, but I'll just whine about the fitting now.
Why is it that Gallente ships have so little powergrid, yet are expected to fit blasters, a MWD and an armour tank? A Thorax can only fit a MWD, electron blasters and an 800mm plate. Yet it's common for other racial cruisers to fit medium-tier sized weapons and a 1600mm plate.
I propose that in compensation for the huge waiting for hybrids to be fixed, blasters are given 500% DPS and 1000% tracking. Railguns should deal 5000% more alpha, and be able to hit 8 targets at once with a single turret. 8 turrets should hit 64 targets.

Only for a day, so us Gallente and Caldari pilots, abused and downtrodden for so long can Rain RIGHTEOUS FIRE DOWN UPON THOSE AMARRIAN AND MINMATAR HERETICS!

as far as we know never
however I agree hybrids and the ships that use them do not work properly

The Thorax can comfortably fit a 1600mm plate and cruiser guns if you make the same sacrifice as is necessary on those 'other racial cruisers' - namely fitting frigate-sized modules in multiple highslots.

I think what you meant here was "common for the Rupture to fit medium-tier weapons and 1600 plate", because the Omen certainly isn't managing that and don't even get me started on the grid the Caracal/Moa have.
The Maller probably could but that ship sucks in ways that go far beyond fitting.

Its not about plate fit... Its about blaster range and ships speed. They must do something with it. Rails and blasters are the worst weapon in game fits badly to the whole game system. Thats the point..

Railguns are problematic in any situation that isn't a sniper fleet battle. It is probably problematic in that situation too, but I wouldn't know anything about it.
Shouldn't railguns do more DPS then long range missiles ? since they have shorter range, it's pretty much their only point.
