The character being transferred will remain on the sender's account, but will not be playable until the transfer automatically completes. If you are not the intended recipient of this character or are not expecting to receive a character, then follow this link: https://secure.eveonline.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fAccountManMenu.aspx If you have any questions, you may browse the EVE Knowledgebase or email [email protected] and one of our customer support representatives will be happy to assist you.

From my own experience this week, I would not advise anyone to give their real e-mail address to anything that cant be sued

Most people don't do that and then of course are shocked when their accounts get compromised. Can't say it was hacked because.. it wasn't. It was phished. And they were too stupid to prevent it by doing the most obvious thing. Don't click links in e-mails. Go directly to whichever companies website the e-mail is supposedly from by entering the URL manually (or from a previously saved link in your browser) so you KNOW you are at the correct website and not a spoofed website designed to fool a fool into giving out their login name and password.
But that's too difficult for some... so they deserve what they get for being stupid in my mind. -

If you ever have a question regarding an email you can always create a petition or forward the email to [email protected] outlined in CCP Sreegs' blog.
We will post the latest phishing attempts that have been reported to us here. Whenever this is updated we will always change the date in the subject line. This is so you will know when it was updated last.
