So .. lately a lot of people are saying that griefing with ships is committing an act of violence against someone purely for the lulz, at a monetary loss to the attacker (Malestrom vs Kestrel in Jita). Now, CCP is never going to get anyone for this. Wanna know why? "Oh, I thought he had a DG / CN invuln or a bunch of plexes!" Holy crap they can't touch you.
It's not piracy, its surprise PVP. |

This too, but some fools dont care. I regularly pop hulks in highsec and almost never bother to loot the wreck. One time the guy's corp came in to sit on him when my alt was sitting at him expecting me to can flip or some other mischief. They dropped cans and taunted my alt in local. I told him his hulk was dead. Oh the looks on their faces when my main and his buddies landed in the belt and popped not only the hulk, but their republic fleet firetail too.

Nobody really gains any ISK PVP anymore now that all of the old pirates are gone or became killmail *****s. So all of PVP is griefing because it's all at monetary loss by your definition and it is for boat violence entertainment.
