EVE Collegues,
A ((OOC)) question was posed to me by a Minmatar freedom-fighter and I didn't have a good answer to give them..."Is there a way to safely transport "emancipated slaves" through the Republic without evoking CONCORD's wrath?" The only advice I could give was to petition it to CCP, but in a mision that I ran against Amaarian forces (in Republic Soverign Territory) one of the things they dropped was "slaves"...and again the question popped up..."How can they be rescued?"

Target them and use ehm "freedom" missiles. Yeah. That's it.

Wasn't there an old LP offer where agents would convert a pile of Slaves into a collection of various other NPC "items"? IIRC you got an assortment of Science Graduates, Tourists, Exotic Dancers, and Homeless.
Yeah, they should bring that back.

The gravity well of the nearest star is a safe place to jettison.

Find a pilot with a snake implant set (reduced chance to be caught smuggling as a secondary bonus).
Use a Transport ship with a covert op's cloak ? Can't scan what you can't see..
As for 100%, beyond your suggestion, i don't believe there is a way.

Orca corporate hangar. Can't be scanned by anybody, not even CONCORD nor customs agents.

Isn't there an option to 'free slaves' when docked in a station? I could have sworn I read that was possible unless it was just a suggestion, otherwise bring them to station then trash them, it works just like freeing them to fend for themselves with no money, documentation, or any place to go with their slave skills.

With one google search I turned up this thread. Apparently the orca is the ship of choice.
That said, when I'm moving drugs then I use a claw nanoed to the eyeballs, simply make a bee line for low sec where there are no customs officers. Once in low sec then go where you please.
Customs are pretty poor at their job, they have to be fairly close to scan you and aren't at every gate or station so are easy to avoid, especially if you use a scout. One thing they can do though is see through your cloak, so don't think a cov-ops will save you.
