If someone blows up your ship in hi-sec you should be able to sue them for damages. Not sure how this could be setup, and it certainly shouldn't be automatic punishment, but it should be a mechanic and avenue available. Any ideas?

If you can't handle it yourself, then hire a merc corp. Or, here's an idea: after your Merlin is blown up by pirates, join a different corp within their alliance. Then you amass power within the alliance and eventually disband it...fulfilling your destiny and laying your vengeance upon them.

No wait, the other thing: tedious.
