They almost make me more disgusted than furries. Almost.

Actually if rp'ers wanted to increase their influence they would stop rp'ing and raging and go out and attack 0.0 entities and try to make a real name for themselves. its like ooo we kicked amarr loyaltists out of providence now its free, oh wait here comes a real 0.0 alliance with real ships and now we are evicted. Lets to go IGS and emo rage and blog about it.

I love bait posts
Generally speaking most roleplayer circles are interested in furthering their own internal story lines, built using the EVE universe's fluff / backdrop. This creates an isolationist way of playing, although good groups usually have entry points for random people.
You can usually wedge yourself in through public channels and bars if you take the time to hang out there. Figuring out whose regular there and how they act out is a good way to see if you want to get involved with them. Usually on my fourth or fifth trip on an alt people notice me as a regular and come to me for interaction, provided I've been acting properly.
I can't stress watching how people interact enough in a channel/bar. I've managed to ditch a few drama holes before introducing myself at all. ______

The funny things is just by logging in and interacting you are role-playing, at a very basic level albeit.

It's fun to mess with RPrs I made an alt on the Minmattar side of FW to try it out and it just turned into 1 month of trolling. I had made an Achura and somehow the story developed that I hated Achura men because they couldn't satisfy me and I wanted the big black brutors and that's what had brought me to minmattar fw. It was ****ing hilarious. Especially at the end when they 'found out' I was 8 years old and had to apologize to 'my father' and were worried about the cops and losing their accounts.

Not everyone wants to be part of some big 0.0 powerhouse, most roleplayers are content with working on character development and having a laugh.

I should join you guys, but then again, the only Veto member I actually do know got brought up on charges recently. So my reference list would be more than a little sarcastic.
